Chapter 772 Finding a Compliant Person
"Jenny, what's wrong with Fiona?" Becky asked curiously.
Jenny found it hard to speak.
Nora interjected, "Becky, what if your mother-in-law doesn't like you and starts pushing women towards your husband? How would you react?"
Becky paused, glanced at Jenny, and instantly understood.
Her eyes narrowed, and she coldly chuckled. "If she dares to push women towards my husband, then I'll make her experience being surrounded by mistresses!"
Upon hearing this, both Nora and Jenny were stunned.
They exchanged a glance, surprised by Becky's response.
Nora seemed to ponder as if suddenly enlightened.
Of course!
Since Fiona had no boundaries, why not let her experience it herself?
Seeing Nora and Jenny silent, Becky asked, "Jenny, was the woman outside just now one of the women Fiona pushed towards Edric?"
Jenny nodded. "Not only her, but even Willow is also one of the women Fiona pushed towards Edric."
Becky crossed her arms and sneered, "Jenny, how much does Fiona dislike you?"
Jenny lowered her gaze slightly. "She probably thinks I'm not good enough for Edric."
Becky chuckled. "Whether you are good enough or not is not for her to decide. You married her son, not her!"
Nora pursed her lips. "Even if Fiona is dissatisfied with you as a daughter-in-law, she shouldn't be so unprincipled."
"Exactly," Becky echoed.
After a moment of silence, her eyes flashed with a hint of wickedness.
"Jenny, do you want to find a woman to seduce Edward?" Becky said.
Jenny's thoughts remained pure.
"That doesn't seem right."
"What's wrong with it?"
Becky shrugged. "We're just putting on a show to let Fiona taste the bitterness of being unable to speak out."
Jenny bit her lip. "But what if Edward really gets involved with the woman?"
Becky said, "Then it's Fiona's own fault, it's her karma!"
Listening to Becky's shocking words, Jenny glanced at Nora, still feeling hesitant.
Nora's eyes flickered, suddenly thinking of someone.
"Jenny, we can find a compliant person to do this, it's just a show, they won't really get involved with Edward."
Jenny blinked. "Find a compliant person; who do you have in mind?"
Becky glanced sideways at Nora, smiling wryly "Yes, you're clearly up to no good. Nora, you're at it again."
Nora chuckled, ignoring Becky's teasing, and said, "You should know Betsy."
Both Becky and Jenny were taken aback.
Becky said, "I know, the woman who was exposed in a scandal and then blacklisted by the entertainment industry, Nora, are you thinking of having her do this?"
Nora smiled. "Exactly."
Becky frowned. "Nora, why are you reaching out to her? Even if you do, she may not even respond to you. I think Betsy probably hates you the most now."
She knew that initially Betsy was blacklisted by the entertainment industry because she seduced Baldwin, and then Nora requested that Aaron revoke her designation as the brand ambassador.
After that, Betsy was forgotten by the entertainment industry.
Now Nora wanted to ask Betsy for help, but Betsy wouldn't be willing to help.
"Recently, Caden and Jeffery had a conflict because of Betsy, and it just so happened that I ran into her here," Nora smiled slightly and said.
Becky widened her eyes, "Caden and Jeffery had a conflict because of Betsy. Did Betsy not idle and start getting involved with your Caden again after retiring?"
Nora said, "She probably has the intention of getting involved with Caden."
After all, Betsy was originally promiscuous.
"So after you met her, did you slap her?" Becky asked.
Nora glanced at her. "I am a civilized person; I don't like to solve things with violence."
Nora was subtly mocking Becky for being barbaric.
Becky chuckled. "Yes, you are a cultured person; you like to solve problems with your brain."
Nora smiled without saying a word.
Becky urged, "Continue with the story."
Nora gave her a look.
"Don't worry, Caden's birthday party is about to start; Betsy will perform in the middle. I'll go find her after her performance," Nora said.
"I'll go with you!" Becky was eager to join in, looking excited.
Nora asked, "What are you going to do?"
Becky said, "Nora, I'm the muscle. If she doesn't listen to you talk, I'll act for you!"
Becky raised her fists, looking ready to defend Nora.
Nora couldn't help but laugh, scolding Becky playfully.
Jenny also laughed on the side but couldn't help feeling a bit uneasy, saying, "Nora, Becky, are we really going to do this?"
Becky glanced at her. "Look at you. Don't worry. Fiona clearly doesn't want everyone to get along, then we can all just stay at odds together!"
Becky's words were rough but reasonable.
Although Jenny agreed in her heart, she still hesitated.
"But if Edric finds out that we are intentionally targeting his mother, will he be angry?"
Becky sneered. "When his mother was pushing women towards him, he didn't consider whether you would be angry. If he had, he wouldn't have allowed his mother to do that, so don't worry about whether he will be angry."
Nora nodded in agreement.
"Jenny, although this method is a bit harsh if you want to make Fiona realize her mistake once and for all, this is a good way."
Jenny remained silent, biting her lip.
Becky furrowed her brow. "Jenny, are you really that scared of Edric? No wonder he has you under his thumb, with all these women around him and you not daring to utter a word."
At the words, Jenny quickly shook her head. "No, I'm not afraid of him; I just feel something is off."
Jenny had always been a well-behaved girl since she was young.
Becky and Nora's ideas had already exceeded her normal range of thinking.
Nora and Jenny had been good friends for many years, naturally understanding what she was thinking.
"Jenny, don't overthink it; just pretend you don't know about this. If things come to light in the future, just blame it on me. This was my idea; let Edric blame me."
At this, Becky protested, "No, Nora, it was clearly my idea; if anyone should be blamed, let Edric blame me."
Nora looked at her. "There's no need for you to take the fall. I have Aaron backing me up. Even if Edric has any opinions about me, he wouldn't dare do anything to me."
Becky rolled her eyes at her. "Nora, you're always flaunting your love. It's so annoying."
Nora laughed; her lovely face filled with sweetness.
