Chapter 459 Finally Waiting
"He indeed didn't get married, but he has a girlfriend. I am his girlfriend's sister," Olivia skillfully lied.
"I see," Steven replied.
"Sir, can you let me in to see him?" Olivia asked.
She believed he trusted her.
Steven glanced at Olivia, and apologized, "I'm sorry. I want to let you in, but there was an incident that just happened here. My superior specifically ordered me to prevent anyone from entering except for the employees."
In the morning, Steven's colleague let the people seeking explanations in. As a result, the colleague was immediately fired.
Steven dared not defy his superior's orders.
"Sir, I am Mr. Gordon's sister-in-law," Olivia stressed.
"Why should I believe you? Just a moment ago, a journalist was claiming to be Mr. Gordon's girlfriend," Steven chuckled and scoffed.
Olivia thought, 'I hate those people! Why did that journalist claim to be Aaron's girlfriend today?'
Olivia didn't give up. She continued to plead with Steven, but he remained firm and did not let her in.
Olivia's anger grew as she stood outside, waiting for Aaron to come out with the cold wind blowing against her face.
‘I just need to make sure Aaron is inside,’ Olivia thought to herself. ‘He will come out eventually. I have to wait here.’
In the winter, the sky turns dark early. It isn't even 5:00 p.m. yet, but the sky has already grown dark.
Arthur and Elsa took turns calling Olivia. Impatiently, Olivia muttered a couple of sentences before hanging up.
The waiting made Olivia anxious.
‘Why isn't Aaron coming out?’ Olivia wondered. ‘Roy hasn't returned either. This is so boring.’
Olivia grew impatient, but she was unexpectedly surprised when she caught sight of the factory door slowly opening and a car slowly driving out.
Glancing at the car and its license plate, Olivia felt relieved.
The car that came out was a Bentley, and the license plate number consisted of letters and several eights. Olivia considered, ‘This must be Aaron's car!’
"I finally caught Aaron!" Olivia exclaimed.
Olivia straightened her clothes and ran to stop the car.
Inside the car, Aaron closed his eyes and massaged his tired eyes, lost in thought. He had worked all day.
Noe suddenly hit the brakes, causing Aaron to lurch forward.
Aaron frowned instantly.
"What's going on?" Aaron asked.
"Mr. Gordon, someone is stopping our car," Noe said, startled by Olivia's sudden appearance.
Aaron pondered, ‘Someone is stopping the car? Which employee's family member is demanding compensation from me now?’
Aaron hadn't figured it out yet, but Noe said, "Mr. Gordon, it seems like it's Olivia who's blocking us."
"Olivia!" Aaron continued to frown.
He looked forward and saw Olivia walking quickly toward them, tapping on the car window.
Aaron mulled over, ‘What is she doing here? Did she follow me?’
Aaron grew more gloomy and told Noe, "Go down and find out what's happening."
"Yes, Mr. Gordon." Noe followed.
He got out of the car and asked, "Why are you here, Ms. Olivia?"
Olivia withdrew her hand from tapping the car window and touched her hair on the side of her ear. She felt a bit aggrieved.
"No, someone bullied me at work yesterday. My mom was afraid I would develop a mental illness, so she asked me to go for a walk. I heard there's a beautiful wetland park here, so I went for a walk. But I didn't expect to see Mr. Gordon's car. What a coincidence."
Olivia chewed over, ’Damn it! I sent Roy to look for the rogues, but he hasn't come back yet! I was planning to have Aaron rescue me! Thankfully, on the way here, the taxi driver asked if I went to this wetland park. That's how I could come up with this excuse.’
"You came here for a walk? Is there something else?" Noe doubted.
He didn't believe Olivia, but he didn't ask further.
Olivia said, "No, I want to see Mr. Gordon."
Noe replied, "I'm sorry. Mr. Gordon has been working all day, so he is tired and wants to go home to rest."
Knowing that Aaron wouldn't see Olivia, Noe turned around and left after saying this.
Olivia immediately said, "Noe, please let me see Mr. Gordon. I can tell him jokes and give him a massage. I promise I can help him get rid of his fatigue."
Noe stopped and looked at Olivia mockingly.
"Olivia, I don't think you're here for a walk. I advise you not to covet things that don't belong to you. Mr. Gordon is not very friendly."
Noe thought, 'I didn't expect Olivia to come here to see Mr. Gordon. She is a bit clever.'
Noe didn't say anything more. After unlocking the car, he opened the driver's door and got in.
Olivia felt anxious and pulled on the rear door of the car.
Noe didn't have time to lock the car door, so Olivia pulled the door open.
"Aaron, it's me, Olivia. It's so cold outside. There are no taxis here. Can you give me a ride?" Olivia asked. She didn't care if Aaron agreed or not. She directly got into the car.
Smelling the strong perfume mixed with the cold and damp air on Olivia, Aaron became angrier and more indifferent.
"Get out of the car!" Aaron shouted, with a voice chillingly cold.
Olivia looked at Aaron and said sweetly, "Aaron!"
"I'll say it again. Get out of the car!" Aaron commanded, with his eyes icy cold.
Looking at Aaron's eyes, Olivia trembled in fear.
But she didn't give up. "Aaron!" Olivia pleaded.
"Noe!" Aaron yelled.
Noe understood what Aaron meant and quickly opened the car door. Noe forcefully pulled Olivia out of the car.
Noe was strong. He rudely threw Olivia to the ground.
Watching the car quickly drive away, Olivia screamed in anger.
"Damn it! That Noe is not a gentleman! Is Aaron stupid? Why did he reject a beautiful woman who approached him?" Olivia cursed in the direction the car left.
The cold wind made her shiver.
She had traveled all day to come here and wait for Aaron. However, she once again failed to get close to Aaron.
Thinking of Roy, Olivia started cursing again, "Where is Roy? Why has he yet to come back? I'm so cold!"
Olivia cursed for a while. Due to the cold wind, she sneezed a few times, holding her arms as she ran to a corner. Then, she took out her phone to call Roy.
At this moment, five rogues appeared.
"Why are you alone here, Miss?" one of them asked.
Olivia looked up and saw five rogues.
Olivia thought, ‘It was Roy who had sent them over.’
She became angry and yelled, "You're late! I don't need you. Get out of here immediately!"
The five men looked at each other, stunned.
The leader among them was named Tony. He approached Olivia and lifted her chin with his hand, smiling with malice.
"What did you say?" Tony asked. He was very so close that Olivia noticed his yellow teeth as he smiled.
The smell of smoke and stench coming from him made Olivia hold her breath.
Olivia frowned and slapped Tony's hand away, looking warily at the five men.
"Didn't Roy send you guys here?" she asked.
