Chapter 441 Approaching Aaron Conveniently
Outside, the secretary of the CEO's office was blocking Olivia from entering.
"Miss, without an appointment, you can't just enter the CEO's office," the secretary informed.
Olivia raised her chin, appearing arrogant. "You better step aside. Mr. Gordon is my brother-in-law. If you dare to stop me, I will make sure he fires you!" she threatened.
Aaron was her brother-in-law?
Even if it was true, this secretary can only let Olivia in with an appointment, so she continued to block her dutifully.
"Sorry, but like I said, if you don't have an appointment, you can't go in," the secretary said, sternly.
"You…" Olivia didn't expect that.
She looked at the secretary up and down, observing her petite figure and elegant appearance, then coldly snorted.
This secretary must be deliberately stopping her, trying to make her presence known to Aaron.
Thinking about it, Olivia pushed her hard and said, "Why are you stopping me? Don't think I don't know what you are thinking. You think that by stopping me from seeing Mr. Gordon, he will pay more attention to you? With your looks, do you really think you deserve his favor?"
The secretary stumbled back from the push and almost fell.
She quickly grabbed onto the nearby bar counter to steady herself.
She couldn't find words to express how dumbfounded she was, feeling like the person in front of her had a problem.
Just as she was about to speak, a woman's seductive voice came from behind.
"Oh, who's the wild chicken making noise? When did the CEO's office turn into a chicken farm?" the voice remarked, sarcastically.
Hearing this, Olivia was momentarily stunned. She raised her gaze and saw the person in front of her, who exuded an enchanting appearance and dressed stylishly. It was clear she wasn't an ordinary employee.
Olivia thought, 'Who's she? Did she insult me as a wild chicken?'
The secretary greeted respectfully, "Ms. Quinn, you're here."
Quinn smiled seductively, her enchanting eyes scanning Olivia.
"Who is this woman with an unpleasant voice and an ugly appearance?" Quinn asked.
The secretary listened to her subtly insulting Olivia again and couldn't help but feel delighted.
As secretaries, they usually admired this beautiful CEO. Now, they admired her even more for her sharp tongue.
"Ms. Quinn, I don't know her, but she's called Mr. Gordon her brother-in-law," the secretary replied.
Quinn raised an eyebrow, examining Olivia with a curious look on her face.
Quinn mocked, "Brother-in-law? I didn't know Nora had a sister like you."
Her repeated mockery angered Olivia, and her face changed color in fury.
But upon hearing the other party accurately mentioning Nora's nickname, she suppressed her anger and asked skeptically, "Do you also know Nora?"
Quinn laughed seductively, and replied, "Yeah, Nora is my sister."
Olivia was stunned. How come she didn't know that Nora had a sister like this?
Olivia looked Quinn up and down, her gaze flickering.
Seeing her appearance, it was clear she wasn't a good person either.
Certainly, like herself, she was using her connection with Nora to get close to Aaron.
"You still haven't told me; who are you?" asked Quinn.
Olivia snapped out of her thoughts, raised her chin, and snorted, "Why should I tell you? Anyway, Mr. Gordon is my brother-in-law."
Noe, who had been watching the spectacle outside the CEO's office, returned to the office and reported to Aaron.
"Mr. Gordon, do you know who's outside?" Noe asked.
"Who?" Aaron asked.
"Olivia," Noe explained.
Aaron paused while eating, slightly surprised. "What is she here for?" he asked.
"I don't know, she insisted on seeing you. Coincidentally, Quinn also came, and she ridiculed Olivia," Noe reported honestly.
Aaron set down his fork and elegantly wiped the corners of his mouth with a tissue before getting up and heading towards the door.
Outside, when Olivia refused to reveal her identity, Quinn couldn't be bothered with her anymore.
She asked the secretary, "Is Mr. Gordon inside? I need to speak with him."
The secretary replied, "He's in there, please go in."
The secretary knew that Aaron and Quinn had a good relationship, so there was no need to schedule an appointment, and Quinn could go in directly.
Upon seeing Quinn heading towards the president's office, Olivia pursed her lips and prepared to follow.
The secretary stopped her again.
"Lady, you can't go in," the secretary repeated.
Olivia was annoyed. "Why can she go in?" she asked.
"Because Ms. Quinn and Mr. Gordon are good friends," the secretary explained.
Olivia didn't believe that. Could men and women have purely platonic friendships?
She looked at the seductive figure of Quinn's back and called out, "Hey, admit it, you're also attracted to Mr. Gordon, aren't you?"
The word "also" made Quinn pause in her steps, with a hint of interest flashing in her eyes.
She turned to look at Olivia, "So you're attracted to Aaron?"
Olivia didn't deny it. "Mr. Gordon is the most outstanding man I've ever met; it's normal for me to admire him."
Her infatuated appearance was evident.
Quinn's interest in her eyes grew.
Some people really knew how to attract attention.
At this moment, Aaron and Noe walked out of the office.
"What are you arguing about?" Aaron asked.
Aaron, dressed in a white shirt and black pants, had a tall and slender figure.
An air of dignity and arrogance emanated from him.
Quinn's eyes shifted, and she intentionally walked to his side, linking her arm with his and acting coy.
"Aaron, you heartless person. You just had me, and now you're seducing someone else? And it's even an ugly duckling with no good looks or figure. Are you blind?" she remarked.
Quinn smiled tenderly and flirtatiously at Aaron, her teasing expression hidden from Olivia's view.
Aaron's brow twitched, speechless.
Had she spent too much time with Baldwin, and her acting skills improved?
Olivia watched this scene, her eyes widening, completely disregarding Quinn's mocking remarks toward herself.
"Mr. Gordon, you...you and her..." Olivia stuttered.
She just knew that this woman was not a good person!
They certainly had an affair!
As Nora, a single mother, how could she possibly keep Aaron, this wealthy man, interested?
Likely, Aaron was playing around with her.
Olivia thought, 'So, I also have a chance to become Aaron's woman.'
Aaron let go of Quinn's hand and looked at Olivia. "What are you doing here?"
Olivia tried to calm her excited heart and acted coy. "Mr. Gordon, I'm here to intern."
Aaron frowned and asked again, "What?"
Olivia glanced around and walked towards him; her eyes filled with affection. "Actually, I wanted to apply for your secretary position, but they said there was no need for a secretary, so I could only apply for an administrative clerk position," she explained.
Aaron looked at her with a hint of disgust in his eyes.
Olivia came to his company to be an intern. The internship was just an excuse; the real reason was to get close to him.
She didn't consider her worth.
"Mr. Gordon, who is she? Are you really in that kind of relationship with her? Aren't you afraid Nora will find out?" Olivia remembered Quinn and asked.
