Chapter 560 He Is a Masochist
Nora didn't expect him to ask that. She was stunned for a moment, unconsciously imagining such a scene.
She and Aaron had been through a lot together, gradually developing deep feelings.
If the two of them were forced to separate, she would definitely not let go.
Perhaps she would silently guard him quietly, like Zephyr did for Sandy, hoping that they could be together again.
After all, people were emotional beings.
"Look, you hesitated too." Zephyr saw Nora's silence and smiled bitterly.
He said, "Dr. Hamilton, you don't understand my suffering, so don't tell me to let go. But please rest assured, I won't interfere with her. I hope she can find happiness. If one day, Kenneth wakes up and comes to take her away, I will let go."
Nora glanced at him and said, "Then remember what you said."
Zephyr smiled and said, "The premise is that Kenneth wakes up and still loves Sandy, not suspecting her integrity and making her angry."
Nora said, "Kenneth is not an unreasonable person. Without Suzy, his relationship with Sandy wouold be very stable."
Zephyr sneered, "Is that so? But at the club, I saw Kenneth hit Sandy with my own eyes. He suspected his wife of being unfaithful to him. Dr. Hamilton, are you sure he will still trust Sandy when he wakes up?"
At these words, Nora remained silent.
She was not directly involved and naturally could not make unfounded judgments.
But...
Nora said, "Dr. Wright, what I can confirm is that Sandy deeply loves Kenneth. You and her have long since broken up. As long as the misunderstanding between them is resolved, they will still be a loving couple."
"I still suggest you let go early and go find your happiness. You are so outstanding; you will definitely find a girlfriend as excellent as Sandy."
After speaking, she took off her surgical gown and left.
Zephyr said nothing, just slowly taking off his surgical gown.
There were indeed many outstanding women in the world, but Cora was the only one for him!
He only liked her!
Nora left the room and went to where Sandy lived.
At this time, Aaron was still working. When he saw her coming, he put away his computer.
"Is the surgery over?" Aaron asked.
Nora replied, "Yes."
"Are you tired?" he asked, his voice filled with concern.
"Not really," she said, a gentle smile gracing her face.
The exchange between the two was full of warmth.
Sandy curved her lips into a smileas she watched them.
"Nora, the surgery should have been successful, right?" Sandy asked.
"Yes."
"Lunch is ready. Are you hungry?"
Nora patted her stomach and said, "I am indeed hungry. Have you eaten?"
"I haven't eaten yet; I was waiting for you to eat together."
Aaron gently took her hand and walked towards the kitchen.
The maid quickly brought out the food.
Zephyr also came over.
Sandy didn't want to talk to him, but she couldn't bear to see him standing there.
She couldn't help but say, "You should go eat too."
Zephyr asked, "Have you eaten?"
"Of course," Sandy touched her belly and said, "I'm pregnant, so I get hungry easily. I can't stand feeling starved."
She was deliberately reminding him that she was pregnant with another man's child.
Zephyr suddenly remembered what Nora had said.
She said he was a masochist.
Perhaps he really was a masochist.
Zephyr sat down opposite Nora and Aaron.
He saw Aaron wearing disposable gloves, peeling crab meat for Nora.
Being close to the sea, this place was abundant in seafood.
The table was now full of seafood. Aaron patiently took care of Nora, his face full of indulgence.
Nora enjoyed Aaron's service peacefully, eating contentedly.
They were truly affectionate.
Zephyr remained silent, eating his meal quietly.
After the three finished lunch, Nora asked Sandy to take a nap, and she went to check on the injured woman again.
The injured woman had not woken up yet and was still unconscious.
As it was getting late, Aaron urged Nora to go home.
Nora asked Zephyr to monitor the injured woman's condition and then followed Aaron home.
In the evening, the injured woman woke up.
The medical staff called Zephyr over.
"Are you awake?" Zephyr said.
The woman looked at Zephyr for two seconds, then tried to sit up.
"If you don't want your wound to reopen, don't move around," Zephyr checked her various indicators and spoke.
The woman didn't move again, slowly turning her head to look around.
"Where am I?" she asked.
"What do you think?" Zephyr asked back.
He had already told her before.
The woman frowned, looked at Zephyr for two seconds, and then said, "Sorry, and thank you."
Zephyr was recording her condition and looked up at her upon hearing her words.
She was probably apologizing to him and thanking him for saving her.
"You're quite straightforward. Alright, I won't hold it against you." Zephyr was no longer angry either.
The woman closed her eyes and fell silent for a moment.
Zephyr finished recording the information and asked, "What's your name? Where are you from? Do you need me to contact your family for you?"
At his words, the woman's eyelashes trembled slightly, and she slowly opened her eyes.
She said, "I have no family; there's no need to contact anyone."
Zephyr was surprised.
Looking at the solid muscles on the woman's arm, he curiously asked, "You're not really a gangster, are you?"
Upon hearing this, the woman gave him a cold glance.
"Although you saved me, please don't pry into my privacy," she said in an indifferent tone.
Zephyr looked at her, saying, "I was just asking. But judging by your reaction, I guess I'm right?"
The woman turned her head away and remained silent.
She didn't want to answer his question.
Zephyr thought to himself, 'Did I really save a gangster?'
'How did this happen?'
'I need to make her better quickly and then get her to leave to avoid bringing disaster here.'
"Dr. Wright, should we give this lady some medicine?" a medical staff member came over and asked.
"Yes, "Zephyr said.
He came back to his senses and asked, "What's your name?"
The woman remained silent for a moment and then said, "Jane Harvey."
Zephyr nodded and said to the medical staff, "Did you hear that?"
"Yes," the staff answered while recording her information.
"After taking the medicine, prepare some food for her," Zephyr said.
"Got it."
After giving the instructions, Zephyr left.
Jane watched his back and then looked away.
