Chapter 587 Disappeared
Listening to Nancy and Karen, Linda smiled triumphantly.
"Yes, only by marrying Evella off to another other man can Rachel marry Mr. Howard smoothly. Alright, let's start the performance," Saying this, Linda took off one earring and put it in her bag, then pretended to look for something.
"Why is one of my earrings missing?" Linda said.
Nancy and Karen started to act along with Linda.
"Linda, think carefully; where have you been just now?" Nancy asked.
Linda said, "I just went to the restroom before going upstairs, and I saw both my earrings were still on my ears."
"So, did you lose it upstairs?" Karen said.
At this moment, Rachel walked over and asked, "Linda, what are you looking for?"
"Rachel, one of my earrings is missing. This pair of earrings you gave me as a birthday gift is my favorite. Help me find it." Linda held Rachel's hand, looking anxious.
Rachel quickly reassured her, saying, "Don't worry. Do you remember where you might have lost it?"
"I just went to the second floor and noticed it was gone when I came back down," Linda replied.
Rachel nodded and said, "Let's all help look for it."
The servants of the Romero family, as well as several guests who were close to Linda and Rachel, started to help search for the earrings.
After texting Jenny, Nora began to look around and search for Evella.
However, Nora didn't find Evella. Seeing many guests heading upstairs, her curiosity got the better of her, and she followed suit.
On the second floor, Linda pretended to search for the earrings.
Most of the doors of the lounges were open.
A group of people gathered.
Linda looked at the third closed door, feeling excited.
If they were to push the door open now and see Evella being kissed by Simon in disarray, no one would believe Evella, no matter what she said.
"I remember I rested in this lounge just now; the earring should be inside this room," Linda said to Rachel, then quickly walked to the door and opened it.
The curtains in the room were drawn, so the light was dim.
Linda quickly turned on the light and looked down, exclaiming, "Simon, what are you doing?"
Linda thought Evella was lying on the ground, so she screamed as soon as she turned on the light.
However, there was indeed someone on the ground, but it was only Simon who had fainted.
Linda's scream abruptly stopped. She widened her eyes, completely stunned.
Evella was nowhere to be found!
There was only Simon on the ground.
"Is this Simon?" someone asked.
"Yes, why did he faint here?" another guest said.
The guests who followed were all surprised.
Rachel quickly squatted down, checked Simon's breathing, and found that he had only fainted.
"Come on, you two, lift Simon onto the bed," Rachel instructed the servants who had followed.
The servants quickly complied.
Linda's assistant looked around and whispered in Linda's ear, "Evella is missing."
"Go search for her; she must be in this room," Linda whispered back.
Nancy and Karen took the opportunity to search in the restroom. But the restroom was empty.
Rachel had the servants check Simon's breathing, and Simon finally regained consciousness.
"Simon, you're awake," Rachel sighed in relief and said.
Simon still looked a bit dizzy, his eyes slowly scanning the surroundings.
Rachel asked, "Simon, why did you faint here?"
Linda stared at him and also asked, "Yes, Simon, what happened?"
Simon sat up and touched the back of his head, frowning in pain." It hurts. I don't know who knocked me out."
Linda's eyes flickered, and she said, "Simon, are you saying someone attacked you? Why would someone attack you, and you were alone in this room?"
Simon glanced at her, caught Linda's eye signal, and suddenly realized. He said, "I don't know who attacked me; I just know that when I entered the room, I found Sunny lying unconscious on the ground. I was performing CPR for her when I was attacked."
Upon hearing his words, there was a murmur from the crowd.
"Which Sunny? Is it the Evella who just returned to the Remington family?" someone asked.
"Yes, it's her." Simon nodded.
At this moment, Nora stood behind the crowd, listening to the conversation inside, and was suddenly shocked.
How could Evella have fainted? Where was Evella now?
Nora was about to go in and find out when her arm was suddenly grabbed. She turned around, and her eyes widened.
The person grabbing her was Evella.
Richard was standing next to Evella.
Nora opened her mouth to call out Evella's name, but she saw Evella raise a finger to her lips, gesturing for silence.
Nora blinked, nodded slightly, and swallowed the words on her lips.
She understood that something must have happened just now.
They got to see what their next move was.
Inside, Linda's eyes flashed with excitement as she exaggeratedly said, "Simon, you said you were performing CPR for Evella just now, so you two have kissed."
"Exactly, not just a kiss; To perform CPR, you have to take off the clothes and press on the chest, so you have seen Evella naked and touched her all over."
Linda's words emphasized that Simon not only saved Evella's life but also had physical contact with her.
Simon understood instantly and apologized, "I didn't mean to. She was in a coma. I was just saving her life."
Linda glanced at Nancy and Karen, signaling them to cheer.

Nora, standing behind the crowd, listened to the conversation inside, her eyes narrowed. She glanced at Evella, who had a tense expression and clenched fists.
Nora raised her hand, wanting to hold Evella's hand to comfort her.
Unexpectedly, someone was faster and hugged Evella's shoulder, leading her forward.
Nora's hand was left hanging in the air, watching Richard embrace Evella's back in surprise.
The gentleman's suit draped over Evella clearly belonged to Richard.
Evella had just been chatting happily with Richard. Now, he was not only helping Evella with her coat but also embracing her; what was going on? Was Richard pursuing Evella?
As Nora pondered, she quickly squeezed into the crowd.
Nora was about to ask Richard to remove his hand from Evella's shoulder when Richard voluntarily let go of Evella.
Nora furrowed her brows, standing next to Evella, watching Richard warily.
Evella said, "Who just said they would take responsibility for me and propose to me?"
