Chapter 430 Seems Like a Family
Elsa looked at her daughter and inquired, "Olivia, be honest with me. Are you interested in Aaron?"
Upon hearing this, Olivia blushed, "Mommy, did you figure it out?"
Elsa had a knowing expression on her face. "That child is quite cunning. He probably made you embarrass yourself in front of everyone because he knew you liked Aaron," she explained.
So that's how it is!
Olivia suddenly realized what was going on and said indignantly, "That filthy little brat, why is he so scheming?"
Just moments ago, she had been pinched and couldn't control her temper, causing her to shout in front of Aaron.
Oh no, Aaron's impression of her might have worsened!
"Olivia, do you really like Aaron?" Arthur asked with a probing look.
Olivia snapped out of her thoughts and thought of Aaron's handsome and charming figure. She blushed again and replied, "Uncle Arthur, Mommy, he's the most charming man I've ever met. I want to find a husband like him in the future."
Arthur remained silent while Elsa said to him, "Arthur, Olivia is already an adult. It's time to start preparing and finding a husband for her."
Upon hearing this, Arthur nodded, and said, "I'll ask around and see if there are any good men around to match Olivia."
Olivia's eyes widened, and she hurriedly said, "Uncle Arthur, I don't want anyone else; I want Aaron to be my boyfriend."
Arthur frowned, and said, "Olivia, as you can see, Aaron has someone he likes."
Olivia scoffed, her face full of disdain. "You mean Nora? What's so good about a divorced woman who has already had a child? She must be good in bed to temporarily captivate Aaron. I'm still a virgin; can I lose to her?"
Arthur's brow remained furrowed, saying, "That's true, but..."
"But what?" Elsa interrupted him, "Arthur, I only have one daughter. I want to give her the best in every aspect."
Upon hearing this, Arthur nodded and compromised, saying, "Naturally. But Aaron is not easy to deal with. To make him fall in love with Olivia and become her boyfriend, we need to consider our approach carefully."
Olivia's eyes lit up, and she suggested, "Uncle Arthur, as long as I have more opportunities to interact with Aaron, he will certainly fall in love with me."
Elsa chimed in, "Olivia's school will be on break soon, Arthur. You should find a way to get her an internship at Aaron's company. That way, they can spend more time together and develop feelings for each other."
Arthur agreed, saying, "That makes sense. I'll figure something out."
Olivia was overjoyed to see Arthur's agreement. She held their hands and said, "Mommy, Uncle Arthur, you're so good to me."
Arthur and Elsa exchanged a knowing glance, a gleam of understanding passing between them.
In the lobby, Alex handed Bill a plate with a big chicken leg. "Here," he said.
Billy stared at the chicken leg and was puzzled. "Alex, why are you giving me the big chicken leg?" he asked.
Alex's voice was young but carried a hint of steadiness as he replied, "It's a reward for you."
Billy smirked, grabbed the chicken leg, and took a big bite. Though he was already quite full, this was a reward from his older brother, so he was happy.
Samantha interrupted their conversation and asked, "What were you guys talking about?"
Billy challenged her, saying, "Guess."
Samantha replied, "There's no need to guess; I've already figured it out. You purposely spilled soup on that aunt, didn't you?"
She looked at Billy with big eyes filled with disdain.
"You're even pretending to be a child," Samantha continued.
Billy was speechless. How was he pretending to be a child?
Samantha sneered, "You have a child's body but an adult's heart."
Billy acknowledged her words and took it as a compliment.
"Well, that aunt was so mean. She even pretended to be innocent. I wanted to expose her true colors in front of everyone," he said.
The three children looked at Aaron simultaneously, knowing exactly who Olivia was imagining.
Aaron remained silent, calmly wiping Millie's mouth with a napkin.
Billy added, "Uncle Gordon, you won't be mad at me, will you?"
Aaron finally spoke up, "Do I look like I'm going to scold you?"
Billy responded, "But you didn't say anything, so I felt guilty."
Aaron retorted, "Do you want me to applaud you to show my appreciation? Your acting skills were quite impressive. You have the talent to be a film star."
Billy grinned at the compliment.
Millie had just finished eating and looked around. Her gaze landed on the big chicken leg in Billy's hand.
"Alex, I want a reward, too," Millie said.
She didn't understand what her older brothers and sisters were talking about, but she knew that she had just protected Billy. So why did Alex only give a reward to Billy and not to her?
"Um, there are no more chicken legs, Billy. Why don't you share half of yours with Millie?" Alex said to Billy.
Alex hadn't expected Millie to ask for a reward and turned to Billy.
"Okay." Billy was worried that he wouldn't be able to finish the big chicken leg, so he gladly gave Millie the leftover part.
Millie didn't mind his saliva and happily accepted it.
"Billy, I just protected you, you know," Millie said.
Billy wanted to say that he didn't need her protection, but he nodded when he saw her smiling face.
"Yeah. Thanks," Billy thanked.
"You're welcome. I'm your little bride, and in the future, if anyone dares to bully you, I'll protect you," Millie said.
Could she please forget the title of "little bride"?
Nora couldn't help but laugh as she listened to the children's babbling.
With these cute and protective little ones around, if she really married Aaron in the future and other women thought of him, she wouldn't have to worry.
Because these little ones were even more difficult to deal with than her.
Thinking of the three of them standing together just now, Nora pondered.
Arthur really seemed to be good to Elsa and her daughter.
Whenever there was a new hotel opening, he would take Elsa and her daughter out for dinner.
These three people looked quite like a family of three.
...
The Remington Family.
Evella finished eating and was called into the room by Mrs. Remington Senior.
"Grandma, what's the matter? Do you want to whisper something to me?" Evella asked with a smile.
Mrs. Remington Senior said, "I had your older brother ask, and Howard was fine. Since you and him stayed at the hotel overnight, he must take responsibility for you."
Upon hearing this, Evella's smile froze, and she quickly said, "Grandma, nothing happened between him and me. I don't need him to take responsibility."
No way, her Grandma wanted to arrange a marriage with Howard again!
Mrs. Remington Senior patted her hand. "Evella, Grandma is getting old and doesn't know when I'll close my eyes. My biggest wish now is to find a good husband for you.
"We have a good relationship with the Hamilton family, and in terms of the Hamilton family's younger generation, regardless of knowledge and status, Howard was outstanding.
"What's truly admirable is his passion for medicine; he's wholeheartedly dedicated to the field. He leads a scandal-free life, making him a fitting choice. If you choose to marry him, your future is bound to be filled with happiness."
