Chapter 946 She Was His First Woman
Gabriella fluttered her eyelashes. "Let me think! One, two, three, four..."
With each count, Johnnie's face got darker.
"Hmm, around seventeen or eighteen," Gabriella said.
Johnnie looked furious. "You've been with all of them?"
Gabriella giggled at his expression. "Some, yes. Some, no. Jealous?"
Johnnie stayed silent, clearly upset.
Gabriella's hand traced his toned body. "What about you? Am I your first?"
Johnnie's eyes flickered. "Of course not! You're overthinking it."
Gabriella knew he was lying. His eagerness and clumsiness their first time confirmed it. She smiled, her fingers moving lower. "Johnnie, you really suit me."
Though she just wanted fun, she enjoyed their chemistry. Johnnie, young and full of energy, couldn't resist her teasing. His breath deepened, and he pinned her hand above her head, kissing her.
Gabriella wrapped her legs around him, enjoying the moment. Just as he was about to enter her again, she felt a sharp pain.
"Don't move!" she said, pushing him away.
Johnnie, breathing heavily, asked, "What's wrong?"
"My period just started. Move away," Gabriella said, frowning.
Johnnie looked frustrated. "Really? You're not messing with me?"
"I'm serious. Move, or the hotel will charge us for the sheets."
Johnnie quickly moved aside. Gabriella got up, threw on a robe, and rushed to the bathroom.
Johnnie took deep breaths, trying to calm down. Soon, Gabriella called from the bathroom.
"Johnnie, come here for a second."
He put on a bathrobe and walked to the door. "What's up?"
"I didn't bring any pads. Can you buy some?"
Johnnie frowned but nodded and went out. He quickly bought several types and returned.
He knocked on the bathroom door. "Gabriella, I'm coming in."
"Okay."
He handed her the pads. "Here."
"Thanks," Gabriella said, looking pale. Johnnie asked, "Do you have cramps?"
Surprised he knew, Gabriella would usually tease him, but her belly hurt too much. "Yeah, it really hurts."
Her periods were always irregular and painful.
This month, her period came a few days early, probably because she drank too much.
Johnnie didn't say much and left the bathroom. Gabriella finished up, holding her lower abdomen as she came out. She looked around but didn't see Johnnie anywhere.
Did he just leave because she got her period and couldn't satisfy him? Typical.
Gabriella sneered, holding her abdomen as she lay down. The pain made her think of Aaron. If Nora were feeling unwell, would Aaron leave Nora alone or take care of her? He'd probably take care of her, given how much he doted on her.
Gabriella felt envious. Why did Nora get a guy like Aaron? Why couldn't she?
She tossed and turned, unable to sleep. Half an hour later, she heard the door open. She looked up and saw Johnnie coming in with something in his hand. He turned on the light and walked to the bed.
"I went to the hotel kitchen and made you some hot milk. It's good for cramps. Drink it before you sleep."
Johnnie stood there, looking almost angelic under the light. Gabriella stared at him, something flickering in her eyes.
"You made hot milk for me?"
"Yeah," he said, placing it on the bedside table and pulling out a hot water bottle. "I made you a hot water bottle. Put it on your belly; it'll help."
He tucked the hot water bottle into the bed. Gabriella felt the warmth and was touched.
"Get up and drink the milk before you sleep," Johnnie said, helping her sit up. He blew on the milk and took a sip to check the temperature. "It's just right."
Gabriella took the glass and sipped. "This milk tastes fishy," she frowned.
"Trust me, drink it all. I bought you a little cake," Johnnie said, pulling a small cake from his pocket, coaxing her like a child.
Gabriella felt warm inside. "How does your pocket have everything?" she muttered, then gulped down the milk.
Johnnie smiled. Seeing her frown, he fed her the cake. The sweetness spread through her, warming her heart.
Gabriella leaned against the headboard, watching Johnnie tuck her in. "Didn't expect a big guy like you to be so thoughtful."
Johnnie was the first man to take care of her during her period. This new feeling intrigued her.
