Chapter 938 You Won't Find a Man as Good as My Dad
At Aaron's Villa, they had gotten cozy a few times while bathing.
Nora was so tired she couldn't even lift a finger, so Aaron cleaned her up.
Looking at her captivating eyes, Aaron's gaze softened.
He leaned down and kissed her closed eyes. "Why do I love you so much?"
Nora, exhausted, thought he wanted to go again and frowned.
"Don't even think about it! I'll poke you with a needle and make you impotent!"
Her eyes were still closed, and her voice was both playful and annoyed, making Aaron laugh out loud.
Aaron pulled her into his arms, kissing her earlobe.
"Could you really do that?"
"Yes, I could," Nora replied.
Aaron chuckled. "If you do that, I'm worried I won't be able to make you happy later."
Nora mentally rolled her eyes. Feeling his arousal, she stiffened.
She reluctantly opened her eyes and pinched his thigh. "Get me a needle!"
Aaron laughed softly and held her tighter.
"Alright, I won't tease you. Go to sleep."
Even though he wasn't satisfied, he had to consider her feelings.
He didn't want her to get mad.
"It's so hot, don't hold me. I want to sleep separately!" Nora protested.
"Not happening. Be good, go to sleep."
"I want to go back to my own house!" she continued.
"No."
Aaron pulled her closer, ignoring her objections.
The next morning, Aaron woke up refreshed. He left the sleeping Nora and went to her house.
Carter was exercising in the garden, and Samantha and Billy had just woken up and were with her.
"Daddy, why are you coming from outside?" Samantha asked curiously.
"Because your mommy and I didn't sleep here last night," Aaron explained.
Samantha blinked. "Oh, so you went on a date after we fell asleep!"
Aaron playfully tapped her nose. "Don't you want a little brother or sister soon?"
Samantha pouted. "I do, but it's taking so long!"
Aaron chuckled.
"Dad, did Gabriella stay here last night or leave with you?" Billy asked.
"She stayed here. No one else intruded on our time," Aaron replied.
Billy noticed the disdain in Aaron's eyes but still reminded him, "Dad, keep your distance from other women, okay?"
Aaron glanced at him. "You know I wouldn't do anything like that."
If Aaron were the type to flirt around, he wouldn't have spent a private night with Nora.
So Billy trusted Aaron but not Gabriella.
"Aaron, is Nora still sleeping?" Carter asked with a smile.
"Yes, Grandma. I came over for breakfast and didn't wake her," Aaron replied.
"Right, let her sleep," Carter said.
After chatting for a while, they went inside for breakfast.
Just then, Gabriella came downstairs.
Seeing Aaron, she smiled. "Good morning, Mr. Gordon."
She was still in last night's pajamas, hair down, and no makeup, looking quite different.
If she straightened her hair, she'd resemble Nora a bit.
Aaron nodded politely. "Did you sleep well?"
"Not bad. Is Nora in the kitchen?" Gabriella looked around.
"No, she's still sleeping," Aaron replied.
Gabriella's smile faltered but quickly returned. "You guys must have been up all night again, huh? Poor Nora."
Aaron didn't respond and led Samantha and Billy into the dining room.
Despite his usual cold demeanor, Aaron now showed a fatherly warmth.
Watching him switch between cold and warm, Gabriella had a thought. 'A perfect man!'
If asked what a perfect man was, she'd say Aaron.
Handsome, wealthy, loyal, and successful.
No wonder Suzy was so obsessed with him, willing to do anything to replace Nora.
Even Gabriella was captivated by Aaron.
She tucked her hair behind her ear and sat at the dining table.
Watching Aaron take care of Samantha and Billy, she smiled.
"Mr. Gordon, you're such a good father. Nora's lucky. If I could find a husband like you, I'd be dreaming."
Aaron treated her words as business flattery and didn't respond.
Billy, however, was wary.
"Gabriella, everyone has their fate. My dad and mom are unique. You probably won't find a man as good as my dad, so try not to set your standards too high."
Gabriella noticed the wariness in Billy's eyes and smiled. "Billy, you're so articulate. You must have inherited your dad's good genes. I don't expect to find a man as good as your dad, but if I could have a smart and clever child like you, I'd be satisfied."
Her words were flattering, but Billy didn't appreciate it.
"Then you'll probably be disappointed too. Without good genes, you can't have a smart child like me."
Gabriella was taken aback. This kid was sharp.
'Smart? More like a little monster! Not cute at all!' she thought.
She definitely didn't want a sharp-tongued child like Billy.
Gabriella stayed quiet, afraid Billy would say more.
After breakfast, Aaron told Samantha and Billy to stay home with Carter while he prepared to return to his villa.
"Mr. Gordon, wait for me. I'll go with you," Gabriella quickly said.
Aaron paused, a bit displeased.
"Gabriella, don't disturb my wife. Let her sleep."
