Chapter 539 I Became All Alone
Seeing Sunny remain silent, Suzy let out a cold laugh and knocked on the table. "Hurry up, do you want to give me the forgiveness letter or not?"
Sunny said, "Suzy, this time, I won't sue you. But in the future, please don't provoke me again. Otherwise, whether you tell Aaron about what happened four years ago or not, I will fight you to the end. Anyway, I have good resources now; I don't need to rely on him anymore."
Sunny had to keep her composure, knowing that now was not the time to fall out with Suzy completely.
After saying this, Sunny left.
Not long after, Suzy was released.
Her assistant was waiting for her outside the police station.
Suzy tightened her coat and, seeing that the driver hadn't brought the car over, snapped. "Why are you alone? Where's the car?"
The assistant replied. "Suzy, the driver quit."
"What? Why?" Suzy asked with a frown.
"He said he didn't want to drive for a bad-tempered and vicious woman." the assistant said.
Suzy's face darkened, and she cursed. "That country bumpkin thinks he's so noble now?"
Her assistant didn't respond but instead took out an envelope from her bag. "This is a resignation letter from your agent. She's quitting, too."
'What!'
Suzy asked, "Did she say anything?"
"She said you've hit rock bottom. She can't bring you back up because of her limited ability, so she suggests you find another agent."
Suzy let out a cold laugh.
'Limited ability?'
Her agent just thought she had no backing anymore and couldn't make big money for her!
"And me, I'm quitting too."
Her assistant shoved another resignation letter into Suzy's hand and quickly got into a car.
Suzy stood dumbfounded in the cold wind, feeling chilled to the bone.
'All left.'
'They all left her!'
'Now she was truly all alone!'
Suzy's face twisted in anger as she tore the resignation letters into pieces.
A drizzle began to fall from the sky as if crying for her.
Suzy's chest heaved as she prepared to hail a cab with a sullen face.
At that moment, a car pulled up.
The window rolled down, and a woman wearing sunglasses in the driver's seat said to Suzy, "Ms. Hamilton, get in the car."
Suzy glanced at her but didn't recognize her.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Betsy."
Betsy took off her sunglasses.
Suzy thought for a moment and then got into the car.
After the door closed, she said, "Oh, it's you! I remember now. You're the actress who got blacklisted for harassing a male star during the Gordon's group jewelry ad shoot, right?"
Hearing this, Betsy's face darkened.
'This woman really doesn't know how to talk.'
' If she were useless, I wouldn't even bother with her,' Betsy thought.
Suppressing her displeasure, Betsy said, "Ms. Hamilton, I've heard about your situation. I'm here to tell you that you've been used."
Hearing this, Suzy was stunned. "I've been used? By whom?"
Betsy said, "Now that the Little Joy crew has stopped filming, I heard Becky has become the new lead actress, and the roles of the second and third female leads are being recast. Think about it: in this situation where both you and Sunny are hurt, who benefits the most?"
Suzy thought for a moment and quickly realized.
"Are you saying Becky used me?"
Betsy nodded. "Yes, the video that circulated was likely sent to Sunny's fans by her. She instigated the conflict between you and Sunny. By causing you two to fight, she stood to benefit the most."

Suzy was furious!
Betsy continued. "I think Nora is the mastermind behind this. After all, Becky is a new actress. Even if you and Sunny both got hurt, the lead role in Little Joy wouldn't have gone to her. But now she's the new lead, which means she has backing."
"I think her backing is probably connected to Nora. After all, when I was replaced in the Gordon's group jewelry ad, it was Nora who had Becky take my place."

Nora had told her that kicking her out of the Hamilton family was just the first step.
She said she would show her how karma works.

And since Suzy had indirectly caused Becky to almost kill Nora, making Becky nearly a murderer, Becky must hate her deeply.

Becky was pleasantly surprised. "Let me talk to Daddy."
"Okay."
Becky heard Noah say, "Daddy, here, Mommy wants to talk to you."
Noah's innocent and cute voice made her want to see him immediately.
Soon, Lucas's voice came through the phone.
"Hello?"
Becky's excitement calmed down a bit.
"Are you and Noah in Lindwood City?"
"Yes, Noah has been wanting to visit the aquarium. I brought him here before school started." Lucas said.
"Which hotel are you staying at? I want to see Noah." Becky said directly.
"At Seaton Club, room 2888."
"Got it."
Becky hung up the phone, quickly packed her things, and drove off.
As night fell, the neon lights along the road illuminated the bustling world.
Becky was in a good mood. She listened to the car's music and drove quickly.
She had a feeling that a car was following her.
