Nora chuckled. "As if Lucas isn't whole-hearted to you."
Becky raised her eyebrows. "Although Lucas is okay, he can't compare to Aaron. At least Aaron only has eyes for you from start to finish, unlike that scumbag Lucas. You know how bad his attitude towards me was before!"
Upon hearing this, Nora teased, "You're showing off how powerful you are, ultimately controlling your scumbag husband tightly with your charm."
Becky smirked, feeling a bit proud. "My methods are indeed decent, worth learning from everyone. Especially Jenny, learn more from me, got it?"
Jenny smiled and nodded in agreement. "Got it!"
"What did you get?" Edric walked over with two plates, handing one to Jenny and one to Becky.
Becky didn't mince words, taking the plate and saying, "I want Jenny to listen to what I say. Don't show any kindness to the women around you. Just hit and scold them as she likes. If you dare to support them, you'll be scolded too. If you dare to talk back, you'll regret it!"
"I wouldn't dare talk back," Edric responded without hesitation, demonstrating his compliance.
Becky teased, "So, you're going to support them?"
Edric was taken aback, quickly saying, "No, I wouldn't dare support them!"
"Why do I feel like you're forcing a smile?" Becky smiled mischievously, making Edric feel awkward, but he managed to force a big smile.
"How could that be? Well, enjoy your meal; I won't disturb your chat."
The three women were hard to deal with, and he better slip away quickly!
He was afraid that if he stayed any longer, they would collectively target him!
Edric swiftly walked over to Aaron.
At that moment, Aaron was surrounded by several people from the circle.
Edric exchanged a few words with them before starting to drink.
Aaron glanced at him. "Why aren't you accompanying your wife?"
Edric took a sip of his drink and glanced in the direction of Nora and the others. "Do you think she need me around she's with her besties?"
Aaron also looked over and saw Becky, Nora, and Jenny chatting, all three of them looking beautiful and charming.
Indeed, Aaron always had the feeling that his rivals were Nora's best friends.
"Just now, Jenny said they're going to have an all-night chat, so we'll have to sleep alone tonight," Edric patted Aaron's shoulder and said.
Aaron furrowed his brow, looking displeased. "It's all your fault, Edric. You better figure out a way to coax your wife back home."
He didn't want to be left alone!
"It's not my fault. How is it my fault? I didn't ask them to have an all-night chat." Edric looked innocent.
Aaron gave him a look. "Don't play innocent. If it wasn't for you bringing that woman home, how would your wife think to seek solace with someone else? If she didn't want to seek solace, how would the three of them end up having an all-night chat?"
Edric choked. "My wife wouldn't go around seeking solace."
Aaron smiled. "Then who got drunk at the club last night and almost ruined my honeymoon night with my wife?"
Edric choked again, surrendering. "Fine, it's all my fault."
Aaron said, "Don't just apologize verbally; figure out a way to coax your woman back!"
Edric was puzzled. "How?"
Aaron gave him a look. "You're a master of romance; can't you coax your wife?"
Edric was speechless. "Well, the women I had been with before were easy to coax; as long as I gave them flowers and jewelry, they'd obediently listen. Jenny seems gentle, but she's actually quite stubborn."
Aaron smirked. "Then here's a knife; go self-harm!"
Edric glared. "Why would I self-harm?"
"Because your wife won't come back, you can't stand the loneliness, so you self-harm."
Edric protested. "But I'm not crazy!"
Aaron teased him, "If you're not crazy, why don't you stay away from that woman a bit?"
Edric gritted his teeth. "I told you, Ursula is just a guest at home!"
Aaron lightly mocked, "If she's just a guest at home, what business is it of yours? And why do you have to accompany her?"
Edric had had it enough. "Fine, stop it. You're giving me a headache. Let me think. I'll definitely coax Jenny back home tonight!"
Aaron said, "If you don't coax your woman back, we're done."
Watching Aaron walk away, Edric was speechless.
'Breaking off the friendship at the drop of a hat!'
'If he wants to break it off, let him!'
'Who cares!'
Edric took a big gulp of his drink.
Forget it; Edric had been bullied by Aaron since he was a child, and he didn't dare to break off the friendship!
'I better think of a way to coax Jenny back home quickly!'
The birthday banquet lasted nearly three hours, and as the night grew late, guests began to leave one by one.
The Gordon family had made arrangements for their out-of-town guests to stay at the Oman Hotel, with rooms reserved in the guest wing.
Aaron stayed with his parents to see the guests off.
Alex and a few kids, accompanied by Noes and Seraphina, went back to the Gordon family's manor with Jacob.
Nora was pulled by Becky and Jenny to the luxurious suite they had booked early.
Upon entering, looking at the furnishings in the room, Nora couldn't help but think back to the night with Aaron five years ago, feeling a wave of emotion.
Jenny naturally remembered that incident as well and began to scold Becky.
Realizing her mistake, Becky jokingly said she would have to make amends to Nora by drinking tonight.
She called for room service to bring in some snacks and drinks, and the three of them chatted and laughed.
Being with friends felt quite nice.
They could talk freely, laugh, scold, without worrying about making the other person angry or anything else.
Therefore, Becky, Nora, and Jenny sat cross-legged on the carpet by the window, chatting, eating, and drinking.
Before long, Nora's phone rang. It was a message from Aaron.
Aaron: [Honey, where are you?]
Nora: [I'm with Becky and Jenny, and I'm not coming back tonight.]
Soon, Aaron sent another message.
Aaron: [On the second day of our marriage, you're already leaving your husband. Doesn't that hurt your heart?]
Nora: [Not at all!]
Aaron: [It hurts mine!]
Nora found it amusing, about to reply, but Becky had already snatched her phone away.
"Alright, you're flaunting your love endlessly; we might have to kick you out!"
"Yeah, Nora, is Mr. Gordon calling you back? Don't you betray us!" Jenny chimed in.
"I didn't say I'm going back!" Nora took a sip of her drink, deciding to get drunk with Becky and Jenny tonight.
She planned to just lie down on the bed later if she drank too much, avoiding Aaron's endless teasing. How relaxing!
The three of them chatted casually, with Becky sharing some interesting stories from the set and some scandals from the entertainment industry.
Nora and Jenny listened with great interest.
As they drank more, they started singing and dancing, feeling like they were back in carefree youth.
Becky opened the window and said to Jenny, "Jenny, go shout out your dissatisfaction with your husband!"
