Chapter 765 Ursula
"You guys chat; I'll go say hi to Aaron," Lucas said to Nora.
"Go ahead," Nora replied.
Lucas looked at Becky. "I won't be around you, so don't drink too much later, got it?"
Becky gave him a look. "You make it sound like I'm a drunkard."
Lucas said, "Aren't you?"
Becky rolled her eyes at him. "Alright, you're so naggy."
Lucas didn't mind Becky's attitude, he raised his hand to fix her hair, then walked towards Aaron.
Lucas's actions clearly showed his affection.
Lucas was likely under Becky's complete sway at present!
Nora looked interested.
"Michael, say hello to Auntie," Becky said to Michael.
"Hello, Auntie," Michael obediently said.
Nora patted his head. "Michael has grown taller and more handsome again."
Michael grinned, then his gaze fell on Alex and the others not far away, calling out, "Samantha."
Several children were playing together. Upon hearing the call, they all turned to look at him.
Samantha blinked and called out, "Michael."
Michael grinned and then asked Becky, "Mommy, can I go play with Samantha and the others?"
"Go ahead." Becky let go of his hand.
Michael happily ran towards Samantha.
Watching him quickly join the group of children, Becky sighed,
"Nora, you don't know. Michael has been talking to me about Samantha. He says Samantha is the prettiest, and he really likes her. Samantha went to school in Lindwood City; he misses her a lot; he also wants to go to school in Lindwood City."
Upon hearing this, Nora couldn't help but laugh, "That's cute."
Becky said, "Indeed. It's a pity that Michael and Samantha are cousins. Otherwise, I would have been pestering you to arrange a marriage for the two kids."
Becky's words made Nora laugh even more. Thinking back to when the children had just started kindergarten last year, every time Nora went to pick them up after school, Michael would wave goodbye to Samantha.
'Samantha was quite popular.'
'In Youston, there was a Michael, and in Lindwood City, there was a Ryan.'
'Both of them really liked Samantha.'
'Unfortunately, both of them were Samantha's brothers.'
'Couldn't get married.'
Nora was getting lost in her thoughts.
Samantha was still so young, yet Nora was already worrying about the children's lifelong matters.
"Nora, Sunny has returned recently and has taken on several brand endorsements." Becky interrupted Nora's thoughts, bringing up Sunny.
Nora's eyes flickered slightly as she smiled.
Sunny was back to the entertainment industry, indicating that their plan was progressing.
"I really admire her. Tortured by Jesse like that, she acts like nothing happened and kept working in the industry," Becky remarked.
Nora raised an eyebrow. "If she didn't continue in the industry, she would have suffered in vain at the hands of Jesse."
Becky nodded. "True. Should I go and snatch another endorsement from her?"
Becky seemed to be getting addicted to snatching endorsements.
Nora smirked, "Not necessary for now."
Becky glanced at her with interest. "That mischievous smile. Are you planning something again?"
Nora chuckled. "Is it written on my face?"
Becky neither confirmed nor denied. "You didn't before, but now, after being with Aaron for so long, you've been influenced to be just like him!"
It was unclear whether Becky was teasing her or praising her.
Nora couldn't help but laugh and subconsciously looked for Aaron.
Aaron, tall and handsome, was surrounded by a few people, and his profile exuded a noble and proud aura.
He stood out in the crowd, captivating everyone's attention.
"Can you stop staring? Aaron is with you naked every night; haven't you seen enough?" Becky teased.
Nora averted her gaze, gave Becky a look, and walked away.
"Don't leave yet; tell me, how do you plan to deal with Sunny?" Becky called after her.
"Classified,"
"Nora, that's not fair. When you need me, it's just a word, but when you don't, it's classified?"
"What, are you going to bite me?"
"Don't think I won't!"
Not far away, a waiter pushed a small cart filled with various pastries.
His gaze swept over Nora and Becky, then slowly turned to the group of children playing together.
His eyes landed on Millie for a moment, then moved away.
In the evening, guests invited by the Gordon family began to arrive one after another.
Nora and Aaron stood at the door with Caden and Jeffery to greet the guests.
She saw Edric's parents arriving.
Jenny linked arms with Edric, a faint smile on her face as she winked at Nora in greeting.
Nora smiled back at her, planning to catch up with her later.
Her gaze fell on Fiona, who was dressed in an exquisite dark brown embroidered dress.
Fiona was adorned with a set of pearl accessories, exuding elegance and nobility, truly embodying the demeanor of a wealthy woman.
But the thought of Fiona trying to push another woman towards Edric made Nora dislike her from the bottom of her heart.
With such a domineering mother-in-law, Jenny must have had a hard time.
It had only been six months since their marriage, and Jenny was already struggling. Nora feared that one day Jenny would reach her limit and part ways with Edric because of Fiona.
Fiona needed to realize her mistakes.
"Caden, happy birthday," Edward greeted Caden.
"Getting older again." Caden chuckled.
Being from the same circle, the Gordon family and the Bishop family were naturally familiar with each other.
After some introductions, Fiona brought over two people who had come with her and introduced them to Caden and Jeffery.
"Let me introduce you all. This is my friend Yvette Patel, and this is her niece Ursula. Caden, do you mind if I bring them along to celebrate your birthday tonight?" Fiona said.
"Why would I? Enjoy yourselves!" Caden quickly replied.
Nora's eyes lit up when she heard the name Ursula.
This was the woman Fiona had pushed towards Edric, Ursula.
Nora began to observe Ursula in front of her carefully.
Ursula's curly hair was swept to one side.
Ursula had a melon seed face, and her features were indeed striking and charming.
But this charm seemed to have been enhanced through some artificial means.
Compared to Jenny, Ursula exuded a more alluring aura with a hint of less innocence.
Ursula also had a quite curvaceous figure.
Curvy and sexy, she looked very appealing.
Compared to Ursula, Jenny seemed more slender.
However, as a woman, Nora naturally preferred Jenny's pure and elegant style.
Of course, it could also be because Jenny was her best friend.
Nora loved the way Jenny was.
And it was said that most men preferred women with curves.
Nora subconsciously glanced at Edric.
Edric swore he hadn't betrayed Jenny.
But emotional betrayal was still betrayal.
Living under the same roof as Ursula, Nora wondered what Edric really felt about Ursula under Fiona's encouragement.
