Chapter 739 Envious of Your Husband
Aaron raised an eyebrow. "What kind of man do you want? Do you need me to introduce someone to you?"
A hint of danger flashed in Aaron's eyes. His hand showed no signs of stopping, moving slowly upwards.
Nora was about to go crazy, biting her lip to suppress the urge to scream.
Jesse, who had been served a lot of alcohol by Sunny, laughed loudly at Nora's words.
"Ms. Smith, in that case, why not consider Mr. Martinez and me? We are both quite impressive."
Aaron smiled elegantly on his face, but his finger movements carried a hint of wickedness.
"Ms. Smith, come on, what kind of man do you really want?" Aaron added.
Afraid that Aaron might actually go crazy, Nora took a deep breath, putting on a fake smile on her face.
"I was just kidding. In my eyes, although my fiancé is a bit annoying, he is considerate and in tune with me. I have chosen him for life," Nora said.
Nora's words made Aaron feel relieved.
He smiled, "Looks like you are so into to your husband. I envy him!"
'Aaron, could you be any more childish!' Nora thought to herself loudly.
Finally, Aaron's movements stopped, releasing Nora.
Nora quickly pulled back her legs, feeling relieved.
She adjusted her hair by her ear and saw Aaron still looking at her, so she returned a fake smile to him.
Stupid Aaron, it was time for her to settle the score with him!
But now, he seemed to be getting to the point!
Aaron withdrew his gaze, picked up his coffee cup, and leisurely sipped his coffee.
The main topic had already been discussed, and now he was just waiting for Jesse to leave so he could report back to Richard.
"Ladies, won't you have some wine?" Jesse asked.
Seeing that Nora and Becky weren't drinking, Jesse was a bit unhappy.
"Mr. Rothschild, they both have backers; they don't care about you, so don't bother them. Come, I'll drink with you," Sunny said.
Sunny was afraid that Becky would come and compete with her for the main benefactor, and she was eager for both Nora and Becky to offend Jesse.
She took a sip of wine and fed it to Jesse.
Jesse didn't refuse, swallowed the wine in his mouth, and said with drunken eyes, "You are considerate. With me around, no one dares to bully you; I'll be the first to confront anyone at odds with you!"
Jesse's tone was fierce and arrogant.
Sunny was delighted and said softly, "Thank you, Mr. Rothschild."
After that, Sunny provocatively smiled at Becky.
If it were a normal situation, Becky would definitely retort to Sunny.
But thinking that Jesse might have issues and could soon fall from grace, she couldn't be bothered to deal with Sunny.
Let these two have their final revelry.
Jesse's was sexually aroused. Seeing that Nora and Becky weren't drinking, he found it boring, so he decided to end the drinking session early and prepare for the next revelry.
"Mr. Martinez, let's.call it a day. Take care of your business; remember to handle it for me," Jesse said.
Aaron nodded slightly. "Alright."
What did Jesse ask Aaron to do?
It turned out they had already finished their business discussion.
No wonder Aaron remained so composed, leaving Nora to shoulder the worry alone.
Nora glanced at Aaron, feeling frustrated.
"Goodbye, ladies."
Jesse let go of Sunny and was about to hug Nora and Becky.
A cold light flashed behind Aaron's glasses as he was about to pull Nora, but Becky beat him to it and pulled Nora to her side.
"Nora, my stomach hurts; come with me to the restroom. Mr. Rothschild, goodbye, we won't see you off."
Nora was speechless.
Stomach ache was her excuse.
Watching Becky pull Nora out of the private room, Sunny deliberately sowed discord.
"What stomach ache? Clearly, she just doesn't want physical contact with you. Mr. Rothschild, they are relying on Aaron's support; they really don't care about you."
Jesse's hand was still hanging in the air, his face darkening.
"What's Aaron? As long as I want something, there's nothing I can't get!"
Aaron glanced at Sunny, a cold light flashing in his eyes behind the lenses.
"Women are so talkative. Mr. Rothschild, we are not in your country, please restrain yourself a bit, the bigger picture is important," Aaron said.
Jesse glanced at Aaron, his expression softening slightly.
"Mr. Martinez is right; the bigger picture is important. As for someone like me, as long as I want it, no woman can resist. Ms. Remington, serve me well tonight, and you'll benefit!"
"Alright."
Sunny giggled and glanced at Aaron.
Meeting Aaron's gaze, she inexplicably shivered.
How could this man's gaze be as chilling as Aaron's?
Equally cold, just one look could silence her.
Jesse left with Sunny.
Becky pulled Nora out from the corner.
"Are those two going to a hotel now?" Becky asked.
"Probably," Nora replied.
Becky said, "I heard that Jesse likes trying different things during sex, and Sunny is going to be in big trouble."
Nora raised an eyebrow. "Well, she brought it on herself."
Becky nodded in agreement, then teased, "Let's go find your lover."
At that moment, Aaron walked out of the private room.
Becky looked at him and said teasingly, "Mr. Martinez, it seems like you have some improper thoughts about Nora?"
Aaron pushed his glasses up, guessing that Becky must have figured out his identity.
Otherwise, she wouldn't have this teasing attitude.
"Wrong, Ms. Smith and I are clearly in love. Ms. Smith, you also like me, right?" Aaron said.
Nora glanced at him, forcing out a fake smile. "Yes, I adore you!"
Aaron's lips curled up. "Thank you for your affection, Ms. Smith."
Nora had nothing to say.
This refined scoundrel! She really wanted to tear off his facade!
At that moment, Becky's phone rang.
She glanced at it; it was Lucas calling, and a smile flickered in her eyes.
"Alright, my task is done, my husband is here, I have to go back, you two have fun," Becky said.
Watching Becky looking so sweet, Nora asked, "Is Lucas here to pick you up?"
"Yes. He's practically my assistant now, always sticking with me."
Becky complained, but her expression was full of sweetness.
Nora watched Becky walk away while answering the phone, her voice sounding soft and girlish.
It seemed like their relationship was getting better and better.
"Dr. Smith, should we leave too?"
Aaron leaned in slightly close to her ear, his voice low.
Nora quickly moved a step aside, glaring at him.
"Be a bit more discreet, what if someone sees us and recognizes me? That wouldn't be good."
Aaron put his hands in his pockets, straightening up slightly, raising an eyebrow.
"Are you afraid of people saying you're betraying me?"
Nora said, "Aren't you afraid?"
Aaron replied, "No. Because you wouldn't."
Nora rolled her eyes. "Boring, let's go."
"Wait a moment," Aaron said.
Nora was speechless. "What now?"
Aaron nodded towards the front. "Look who's coming?"
