Chapter 980 Want Some Excitement?
Gabriella shot him a look. "Sexy? Trying to make old age sound appealing?"
Johnnie snapped back. "That's your take, not my words."
Gabriella was speechless and a bit ticked off."So, you don't want to get along with me but still want me to think about Aaron, right?"
She turned and left the store.
Johnnie grabbed her arm. "I do want to get along with you."
Gabriella glared at him. "Then watch what you say!"
Johnnie clammed up and pulled her along.
"What are you doing? Let go of me. Where are we going?" Gabriella yelled.
Johnnie led her to another store. "This place suits you better."
Gabriella looked around. The clothes here were more her style.
Johnnie got her,but she still picked a fight. "Really? Everything here suits me?"
Johnnie pointed to a few dresses. "These look good. Want to try them?"
The dresses were bright and stylish, just her type.
Gabriella said, "Bring them over."
"Medium sizes, please," Johnnie told the sales associate, Calliope.
Calliope quickly fetched the clothes.
Gabriella gave him a sideways glance. "You even know my size?"
Johnnie's eyes darkened as he looked at her figure."I measured it last night."
Gabriella was stunned, picturing Johnnie's hands on her.
She felt a sudden heat. She adjusted her hair to hide her embarrassment and looked at Johnnie's serious face.
Calliope brought over the dresses.
Gabriella took them and went into a fitting room.
She closed the door, took off her dress, and tried on a burgundy one first.
The zipper was at the back. She pulled it halfway but couldn't get it further.
"Johnnie," Gabriella called out.
Calliope, waiting outside, quickly asked, "Need help?"
"Get my boyfriend," Gabriella said.
"Okay." Soon, Calliope brought Johnnie over.
"What's up?"
"Come in and help me."
Gabriella unlocked the door and let Johnnie in.
"What do you need?"
"The zipper's at the back, and I can't pull it up."
Gabriella moved her hair to one side, showing her fair back.
Johnnie's gaze traveled down, feeling the heat rise.
He swallowed hard and pulled up the zipper. "Done."
Gabriella turned and adjusted the dress.
"Let's go out," Johnnie said.
Gabriella grabbed him. "Ever watched porn?"
Johnnie was caught off guard. "What?"
Gabriella raised an eyebrow. "Really never?"
Johnnie didn't answer.
Gabriella's fingers traced his chest, her eyes twinkling. "Johnnie, want to try something exciting?"
Johnnie's Adam's apple moved.
Men love a thrill. No matter how refined, they crave excitement deep down.
Johnnie was no different. He grabbed Gabriella's hand on his belt and pushed her against the door.
Gabriella's hands were pinned, and he kissed her fiery red lips.
Gabriella couldn't help but moan softly, feeling Johnnie's breath. A hint of triumph flashed in her eyes.'Johnnie is really easy to tease! Is he really going to make love with me here?'
The sound of a zipper being pulled down.
Johnnie took off the dress he had just helped Gabriella put on.
His hands roamed freely over her body, teasing her bit by bit.
Just when Gabriella was getting into it, he stopped.
Johnnie's lips left her ear, and he looked at her dazed eyes, his voice hoarse. "I like thrills, but I'm not a monkey."
He gently caressed her red lips. "Fix your lipstick before coming out."
With that, he smiled, turned, and walked out of the fitting room.
Gabriella stood there, feeling both embarrassed and annoyed. Johnnie did it on purpose! He teased her just to make her look foolish.
Anger surged through her. She picked up the dress from the floor, thought of Johnnie's smug face, and tossed it aside, changing into another dress without a zipper.
She quickly put it on and came out.
Johnnie was sitting in the lounge area, looking at his phone, looking completely composed.
Gabriella scoffed inwardly and walked over. "How do I look?"
Johnnie looked up. "Not bad, but I preferred the previous one."
His words were suggestive, and Gabriella smiled. How had she not noticed Johnnie's wicked side before?
She rolled her eyes and went back to the fitting room to change back into her clothes.
Johnnie stood up. "Have you decided?"
Gabriella's eyes twinkled. "Yes, I like all these dresses. Are you paying?"
The clothes here were pricey, each set costing tens of thousands of dollars.
Johnnie looked at her provocative gaze and smiled. "Sure."
Gabriella watched him closely, looking for any sign of reluctance, but he remained calm and smiling.
"Can I pay by card?" Johnnie asked Calliope.
"Of course."
Calliope was thrilled and started flattering them. "Miss, your boyfriend is so good to you."
Gabriella, now in a good mood, replied, "You have poor judgment. He's not my boyfriend, just a suitor. I haven't accepted him yet."
Calliope smiled and said, "Then you should accept him soon. You two look so good together!"
Gabriella's eyes sparkled. "You think we look good together?"
"Yes!"
"Don't you think he's not good enough for me?"
Calliope glanced at Johnnie's calm face, unsure how to respond. "You must be joking."
Johnnie was so handsome and doting. If anyone wasn't good enough, it should be Gabriella not being good enough for Johnnie! But she kept that thought to herself.
Johnnie stayed silent. After Calliope swiped the card, he took the shopping bags.
"Do you want to look at anything else?"
Gabriella glanced at him. "Are you paying?"
"No problem."
Gabriella raised an eyebrow. "So generous?"
Johnnie said, "Didn't you want me to find a way to win you over? If I'm generous, will you be?"
