Chapter 738 Going Crazy
In the private room, they were drinking.
Sunny was seated on Jesse's lap, continuously prompting Jesse to harass her.
In order to prevent Becky from snatching her backer this time, Sunny pulled out all the effort to keep Jesse happy.
Nora glanced at Aaron across from her, a hint of teasing in her eyes.
She wondered if Aaron would be aroused, watching Jesse and Sunny openly flirting in the private room.
Meeting Nora's playful gaze, Aaron's brown eyes behind the lenses darkened.
He spoke up, "Ms. Smith, is your stomach feeling better?"
"It's fine now, thank you for your concern, Mr. Martinez."
Nora politely replied and then walked to the table to sit down.
Aaron stood up first and pulled out a chair next to him for Nora.
"Please, Ms. Smith."
Nora originally wanted to sit a bit further away from him, but seeing Aaron's gesture, she hesitated for a moment and glanced at him. 'This Aaron, can't he stop acting crazy in front of others?'
"This chair is very clean; please have a seat, Ms. Smith," Aaron said gently.
"Thank you, Mr. Martinez."
Nora gritted her teeth, moved to the chair Aaron had pulled out, and sat down.
"You are welcome."
Aaron smiled and sat down beside her.
Nora was startled by Becky a moment ago, then broke out in a sweat due to the running. It was too hot, so she took off the suit jacket Aaron had draped over her and placed it on the back of the chair.
As she placed it down, Nora turned her head slightly, seemingly casually glancing at Aaron.
Aaron squinted his brown eyes as he caught Nora's slightly provocative gaze, his expression darkening slightly.
Nora did it to provoke him; it was intentional.
Nora knew Aaron was unhappy, but she ignored him.
He was acting crazy.
This just served him right!
Knowing that Joseph was Aaron, Becky pretended not to notice the subtle interactions between Aaron and Nora and sat down on the other side of Nora.
Seeing Sunny sitting on Jesse's lap, serving him with a flattering look, Becky's eyes flashed with disdain.
Sunny was so nervous about Jesse, probably thinking Becky was trying to seduce him.
Becky was a good woman now, and with Nora backing her up, she wouldn't stoop to seduce random men for resources!
"Two beautiful ladies, care for a drink?" Jesse, who had been handed a drink by Sunny, asked the two.
"Mr. Rothschild, I'm feeling a bit unwell today so that I won't drink," Becky said with a smile.
Nora also smiled. "Sorry, I can't drink either."
Seeing both of them refusing to drink, Jesse frowned. "It's no fun; just have a little."
Nora thought she might as well have a little drink.
To please Jesse, she needed to play along.
Thinking this, she said, "Then..."
"Mr. Rothschild, I'll drink with you."
Aaron suddenly interrupted Nora and signaled the waiter to pour the drinks.
Jesse glanced at him. "If you're not feeling well, let the two beautiful ladies drink with me."
Thinking of the chili water Aaron sprayed before, Nora quickly said, "Mr. Martinez, if you have a sore throat and feel unwell, you better avoid drinking."
At this, Aaron wore a smile that seemed to contain a hint of ambiguity. "Ms. Smith, are you concerned about me?"
Nora was speechless.
Aaron was acting crazy again!
"You're Evella's brother, so you are just like my brother; it's normal for me to care about you a little," Nora said.
Aaron smiled, his brown eyes behind the lenses scanning Nora's chest with a dangerous look that only she could understand.
Nora realized that Aaron was planning to settle the score later.
Tonight, she decided to stay with the Hamilton family!
"Ms. Smith, Mr. Martinez can't drink, so it's up to you," Jesse interjected.
"Mr. Rothschild, you've already got a beautiful lady by your side to drink with you; don't be greedy!" Becky knew Aaron didn't want Nora to drink, so she diverted the topic.
Aaron glanced at her, a hint of admiration in his eyes.
Becky could read the situation well.
He decided to provide Becky with more resources in the future, allowing her to act with authority.
"Ms. Becky can really talk. Let's have a drink, and in the entertainment industry, I'll have your back," Jesse said.
With a few drinks in him, Jesse was starting to feel a bit tipsy. He found Becky quite captivating and tempting to conquer.
"But you already have Sunny under your wing. If I'm here to share, aren't you afraid she will get angry?" Becky teased.
Jesse patted Sunny. "Darling, as my woman, you must be more generous; from now on, you two are good sisters."
Sunny was about to explode with anger.
Just as she was about to say something, Becky continued, "Mr. Rothschild, I'm not greedy. I have my sister and brother-in-law backing me up, so you don't need to worry about me."
She then looked at Nora. "Nora, you and your husband must always support me. Let me make a fortune, and in the future, I'll buy you a big mansion to live in."
At this moment, Aaron's leg under the table kept teasing Nora's leg.
It made her restless, wanting to kick Aaron out!
But as soon as she tried to kick back, Aaron caught her foot.
When Becky looked over, Nora had to pretend everything was normal in front of everyone.
Cursing Aaron up and down inwardly, Nora adjusted the stray hair around her ear. She was about to speak when suddenly, Aaron scratched her leg.
The ticklish sensation turned Nora's words into a sigh.
Everyone stared at Nora, puzzled.
Aaron, pretending to be surprised, asked, "Ms. Smith, what's wrong? Is your stomach acting up again?"
Fuming, Nora cursed Aaron in her heart once again, then said, "No, it's just a pesky mosquito bite; it's itching a bit."
Nora subtly mocked him for being pesky.
Aaron's slender fingers deliberately scratched Nora's leg again, a sly smile playing on his lips.
"Still mosquitoes at this time of year. It seems the hygiene here isn't up to par. I'll have a word with the boss later."
Suppressing the itch, Nora struggled to maintain her smile.
Becky blinked, sensing something.
She discreetly glanced under the table, then rolled her eyes.
The two were so ridiculous.
"Nora, I'm talking to you. Did you hear me?" Becky said.
"I heard you; we'll have your back in the future."
Nora's reply was absent-minded. She used her other leg to kick Aaron, signaling him to let go quickly.
Aaron smiled faintly. "Ms. Smith and your fiancé have a great relationship, truly enviable!"
Nora gritted her teeth. "No need to envy; my fiancé is a pain; I'm considering whether to change fiancés!"
If Aaron didn't let go soon, she might just switch Aaron out!
