Chapter 677 Pay More Attention to Your Subordinates
Aaron raised an eyebrow."Did you tell him about Jackson Gordon?"
"No. Besides my family, I haven't told anyone else," Nora replied.
Aaron smirked. "Billy knows too, and he even taught Jackson Gordon a lesson."
Nora said, "You sure are well-informed."
Aaron raised an eyebrow. "Of course. You know, our eldest son is here with me, commanding from afar!"
Alex!
Nora pursed her lips. "You talk as if it's already confirmed that the kids are yours. What if they're not?"
"Nora, there's no doubt," Aaron said confidently.
Nora felt a warmth in her heart. "The results will be out tomorrow."
"Yes."
Aaron responded, "Actually, there's no need for a DNA test, but I understand that you need to see the results to feel at ease."
Aaron understood Nora well.
She wouldn't be at ease without seeing the real results.
Just thinking about the results coming out tomorrow made Nora nervous.
"By the way, how's Seraphina doing at the Jones family? Has she interacted with Noe?" Nora changed the subject to relax herself.
Aaron thought for a moment. "She should be fine."
Nora frowned. "What do you mean by 'should be'?"
Aaron said, "I was only thinking about you, so I didn't pay much attention to them."
Nora was speechless. "Stop joking around!"
Aaron chuckled, "But I did see Noe this afternoon, showing Seraphina around the entire Jones family."
Nora said, "Noe is a good man. Now that he's watching out for Alex, he probably doesn't get to meet many quality women. It's a bit of pity."
Hearing this, Aaron's brown eyes narrowed. "Nora, you seem to care about him a lot."
Nora could tell from his tone that Aaron was jealous again.
"Of course, he's your and Alex's strategist. I have to care about him. Only when his family is stable can he work with peace of mind, right? Isn't that what you said?"
Hearing this, Aaron raised an eyebrow.
"So, essentially, you are caring about me?"
Nora deliberately said, "And our son."
Aaron said, "Care about me more."
Nora said, "No, I care about you less."
"Why less?"
"Because our son is still young!"
"He's young but very capable."
Nora felt like she was being led into a trap by Aaron.
"Aren't we being a bit childish and boring?"
Aaron smiled.
"I don't find it boring or childish. Nora, talking with you, everything feels like sweet."
Indeed, Aaron's words always seemed sweet.
Nora suppressed a smile. "Alright, pay more attention to your subordinates. Find more opportunities for him and Seraphina to be alone together and stabilize his family quickly!"
"Yes."
"I'm hanging up now!"
"Give me a kiss."
Nora didn't hesitate and kissed me.
On the other end of the phone, Aaron's eyes were filled with affection. He waited for Nora to hang up first before he did.
He was still savoring the moment!
He really wanted to fly to Nora's side immediately, hold her in his arms, and kiss her gently.
Aaron got up, ready to return the phone to Noe.
He opened the door and saw Noe standing in the hallway, lost in thought.
Aaron raised an eyebrow. "Were you eavesdropping?"
Noe quickly stood up straight. "No, the rooms in the Jones family have pretty good soundproofing."
He wanted to listen, but he couldn't hear anything!
"So, are you saying I should leave the door wide open?" Aaron teased him.
"No, you are too lovey-dovey. I don't want to see it," Noe replied earnestly.
Aaron looked at him. "After seeing so much, have you learned how to chase a girlfriend?"
Aaron's words had a clear implication, he was urging him to start dating again.
Noe's eyes flickered, and he chuckled awkwardly. "Mr. Gordon, I'm too dumb. No matter how much I see, I can't learn it."
Aaron scoffed. "You're not dumb at all. You even dare to play dumb with me here!"
Noe said, "I wouldn't dare!"
Aaron's gaze fell on Noe's jawline.
There was a big red pimple there.
"Why do you have such a big pimple on your jawline?"
The topic changed quickly, and Noe instinctively touched the pimple.
"I don't know, probably from being tired these past few days and drinking too much."
"Does it hurt?" Aaron asked.
"It does hurt quite a bit." Noe replied.
Aaron acknowledged and walked towards the staircase.
Aaron's concern for him ended there.
He wouldn't push him to date anymore.
Noe watched Aaron's tall and upright figure and sighed in relief.
At this moment, after a few months of peaceful days, Noe just hoped to expose Jackson's fake identity as soon as possible.
Then Aaron could go home, and he could regain his freedom!
Noe followed Aaron downstairs.
When they reached the second floor, Aaron walked inside, making Noe a bit puzzled.
"Mr. Gordon, are you going to my room?"
The second floor was all guest rooms.
But currently, only he and Seraphina each occupied a room.
The other rooms were empty.
Aaron, Alex, and Erin were staying in rooms on the third floor.
"I'm not gay," Aaron said.
Noe chuckled awkwardly. "Then what are you doing?"
Aaron didn't reply and stood at Seraphina's door.
"Seraphina."
He called out, startling Noe.
Why was Aaron calling Seraphina?
Was his concern for Noe not over yet?
Soon, Seraphina opened the door.
She looked like she had just taken a shower.
Her long blonde hair was draped over her shoulders.
She was wearing floral long-sleeve pajamas.
Seraphina looked gentle and serene.
"Mr. Gordon, Noe, what's up?" Seraphina asked.
Aaron and Seraphina nodded slightly at each other.
"Seraphina, I need to trouble you with something."
"What is it?"
Aaron stepped aside. "Look at the big pimple on Noe's jawline. He was just complaining to me that it's all because of the wine from your family. Shouldn't you help him with this problem?"
Noe's eyes widened. "Mr. Gordon, when did I complain to you?"
Aaron glanced at him and said calmly, "Did I say anything wrong? Just now, when I asked why you had a pimple, didn't you say it was because you were tired and drank too much?"
Noe was stunned.
The words were correct, but it wasn't a complaint!
"Seraphina, it was your sister who insisted on drinking, which caused the pimple. Even though he's a man, he cares about his appearance. Since you know how to make medicine, you should be able to help him treat it."
Aaron ignored Noe and continued.
Seraphina looked at the pimple on Noe's face and nodded. "It's a small problem. I can treat it."
"Good, I'll leave Noe to you. Please help him get rid of the pimple quickly so I don't feel guilty. After all, he drank so much for my sake, almost ruining his face."
