Chapter 501 Guessing Some

After a moment, her assistant returned.

"Ms. Hamilton, the receptionist, initially refused to tell me, but I gave her a tip, and she secretly informed me that the guest on the twenty-eighth floor was a man named Matthew. He's very handsome with a daughter."

Hearing this, interest appeared in Suzy's eyes.

She had been worried that Aaron was here early to surprise Nora! It seems Nora came on a date with another man!

Why did she bring her son, then? Because that man has a daughter.

Coincidentally, both of them can use the children as cover!

Suzy planned to go upstairs immediately and expose their affair, then take photos and send them to Aaron.

However, she also thought that if she rashly accused Nora of having an affair with someone else, perhaps Aaron wouldn't believe her. So she should find a way to let more people know about this.

With that in mind, Suzy gestured for her assistant to come closer and ordered, "Later, anonymously find some reporters and tell them."

At this moment, Nora and Alex had already arrived at the presidential suite.

"Nora is here, and Alex is here, too." Matthew smiled and greeted Nora and Alex.

Erin was also waiting for Nora. When she saw Nora coming in, Erin walked up and held her hand, looking at her with joy in her eyes.

Nora kindly patted her little head and gently asked if she had breakfast.

Erin didn't speak; she only nodded or shook her head in response.

Alex, who was standing aside, glanced at Matthew, not saying a word but looking somewhat wary.

Matthew noticed the guard in his eyes and raised an eyebrow slightly, pondering,' Has this little guy figured something out?'

Matthew smiled and didn't ask anything; he just led Nora and Alex into the living room.

"Nora, would you like some juice? Is that okay?" Matthew asked.

"Sure." Nora smiled.

"What about you, Alex? Would you like some juice?" Matthew inquired.

"Okay," Alex replied with a cool expression.

"Just a moment," Matthew replied and went to make juice for them.

Alex sat next to Nora, looking around, and his gaze fell on a laptop not far away from the table.

Alex stared at it, thinking, 'If Matthew is a hacker, then this laptop must be top-notch.'

He wanted to see if it was as he imagined!

Alex had an idea and glanced at Erin on the other side of Nora.

"Erin, can I play with the computer for a while?" Alex asked.

Erin kept silent and just looked in Matthew's direction as if seeking his opinion.

If Alex wanted to find out the truth, he had to avoid Matthew, of course.

He slid off the sofa and walked up to Erin.

"I'm a guest, and as the host, shouldn't you play with me for a while?" he suggested.

Erin looked at him for a moment, then nodded gently and also slid off the sofa.

Alex felt happy and said to Nora, "Mom, Have a good chat. I'll go inside and play with Erin for a while."

Nora thought that Alex probably wanted to encourage Erin to speak, so she readily agreed. Of course, she also hoped that Alex would take Erin away.

Because she was going to talk to Matthew about something important later, it would have been better if Erin hadn't heard the news about Matthew's death.

Alex held Erin's hand and walked to the table, picked up the laptop, and headed toward the inner room.

Only Nora was left in the living room.

After a while, Matthew came out with two glasses of juice.

"Nora, where is Alex?" Nora asked.

"He took Erin to play in the room," Nora replied with a smile.

Matthew understood and said, "I'll take the juice to him."

"Let me do it." Nora took the juice from Matthew's hand.

She was curious about what Alex and Erin would do together and whether Erin had started talking.

"Okay," he said.

Matthew didn't refuse her; he sat on the sofa and took a sip of water.

In the room, Alex and Erin sat down, and Alex couldn't wait to open the laptop. Although it looked ordinary, with just one glance, Alex knew that it had high specifications and was locked. He needed to unlock it to open it.

Alex sat up straight, and his small hands began to tap on the keyboard, trying to unlock it skillfully, but he couldn't do it.

Alex pursed his lips, becoming more convinced that the owner of this laptop must be the hacker he knew!

Suddenly, someone tugged at his sleeve.

Alex turned his head and saw Erin using her small hand to tug at his clothes.

"Wait for a moment; I'll play with you after I unlock it," he advised.

Erin didn't say anything; she just tiptoed and pulled his hand away from the keyboard, then entered a set of codes.

Soon, the computer was unlocked.

Alex looked at Erin in shock and blurted out, "Are you Reginald?"

Erin's actions in entering the code were very skilled. Could it be that she was also a little hacker like him? Was she the one who rivaled him? No! Reginald can speak.
Although his voice is software-converted, so Alex can't hear his original voice; he can indeed speak.

And Erin can't speak, so Reginald can't be her, which meant the hacker can only be Matthew!

Erin kept silent and opened a game on the computer interface.

Alex looked over. In his spare time, he often played this game with a group of hackers.

Just as he was about to ask something, Nora knocked on the door.

"Alex, Erin, can I come in?" Nora asked.

Alex quickly closed the computer, looked at Nora walking in, and sweetly called out, "Mommy."

Nora smiled and handed him the juice, saying, "This is the juice Matthew made for you."

"Okay, thank you," Alex took the juice and thanked.

Nora glanced at Erin and squatted down, smilingly asking, "Erin, what are you playing? Have you started talking?"

Erin didn't speak, and Alex replied, "She hasn't spoken yet."

Nora smiled and said, "Then you should cheer Erin on. I hope that before we leave, I can hear Erin call me Aunt Nora in her lovely voice."

Hearing Nora's praise of her voice, Erin's ears turned red again, and she shyly looked at Nora.

Nora patted her little head and said, "All right, you two keep playing. I'm going out to talk to Matthew."

"Okay," Alex nodded and agreed.

After Nora left, he turned to Erin and asked, "Erin, is your dad Reginald?"

Erin looked at Alex but didn't say anything.

Alex thought for a moment and opened the computer again.

"Well, let's play this game. The one who loses has to agree to a condition from the other. If you agree, nod." he inquired.

Erin hesitated for a second and then shook her head, making Alex puzzled.
"Erin, why did you shake your head? Do you want to play the game with me? Are you afraid of losing to me?" he asked.

Erin looked at him and nodded.

'Well, she's quite smart. I didn't manage to provoke her!' Alex said in his mind.

He continued, "So, are we just going to sit here quietly? It's too boring."

Erin took out the Rubik's Cube she had been playing with and handed it to Alex, who raised an eyebrow and asked, "Are you challenging me with this too?"

Erin nodded.

"All right then. The one who loses will have to agree to a condition from the other, okay?"

Erin nodded again in agreement.

Alex smiled confidently and took the Rubik's Cube, looking like he was sure to win. Playing with the Rubik's Cube was too easy for him! Erin was definitely going to lose!
