"Hello?"
"Jenny, did you have Alex post the photo on the Everlasting Skyscraper website?" Edric asked directly.
At this moment, Jenny was sitting on the sofa in the hotel suite, waiting for his call.

"Why did you do it?"

Jenny sneered. "Your mom sent me that photo. She wanted more people to know about it, so I was just fulfilling her wish."

"Jenny, what's wrong with you? Why are you being so emotional? Don't you know the consequences of doing this?"
"What consequences?"
Jenny gripped her phone tightly. "All I know is that I've had enough. If I don't vent, I'm going to get depressed!"
Edric's handsome face darkened. "So this is how you vent? Is it because I had the company terminate the contract with Ulysses, and you're deliberately retaliating against me?"
"Jenny, you're causing chaos in our family over Ulysses. Do you have any sense of proportion?"
Hearing Edric's accusation and disappointment, Jenny's heart tightened, and her nose tingled with sadness.
"You're blaming me. Yes, I'm that kind of person without any sense of proportion. Why don't we just get a divorce? You can find someone more sensible to be your wife!"

"Nora, is Jenny with you now?"
Nora responded, "Edric, it was my idea to post the photos of you and Ursula on the Everlasting Skyscraper website. I thought Ursula deserved a lesson. If you want to blame someone, blame me."
Edric was slightly stunned, his brows furrowing deeply again.
"Nora, Don't you have anything else to do? Why do you always meddle in my relationship with Jenny? Last time, you persuaded her to break up with me, and now she suddenly wants a divorce. Did you instigate that, too?"
Nora glanced at Jenny and didn't argue.
"If you want to think that way, fine. I'm not instigating her; I'm warning you. Jenny is a good girl she doesn't have to marry you and let your family humiliate her repeatedly."
"With her qualities, she can easily find a family that will cherish her and treat her like their own daughter."
"If you don't cherish her, plenty of good families will. Edric, think it over carefully!"
Nora was very calm now.

Nora finished speaking and hung up.
Jenny's eyes were still red. "Nora, why did you say that? Edric will hate you for it."

Hearing this, Jenny sniffled. "Aaron backing you up—is that supposed to be a comfort or a stab in my heart?"
Nora chuckled and took Jenny's hand. "Alright, stop crying. Let's go have breakfast."
The two walked to the dining table, and Nora opened the breakfast the waiter had brought up.
Jenny, having vented, sat at the table in a daze.
Nora glanced at her and handed her the breakfast.
"What, feeling guilty after saying harsh words?"
Jenny took the breakfast and lowered her eyes without speaking.
Nora said, "Don't worry, Edric won't divorce you."
Jenny looked up at her. "Why?"
Nora took a sip of milk. "Because he thinks I'm the one sowing discord, so he won't blame you. So you don't have to worry about him. Just eat and drink well these days and let him sort out the family issues."
Jenny bit her lip. "What if he can't sort it out?"
"Then let him be. Don't make up with him until he sorts it out," Nora said leisurely.
Jenny responded, somewhat absent-mindedly sipping her milk.
Nora handed a piece of bread to her mouth. "Jenny dear, can you happily finish your breakfast, or you want me to feed you?"
Jenny glanced at her and laughed.
On the other end, Edric hung up, his face as dark as thunder.
He had never seen anyone like Nora.
If Nora weren't Aaron's wife, he wouldn't let her stir up trouble like this!
Instigating Jenny to divorce him, Nora was meddling too much.
The more Edric thought about it, the angrier he got, so he called Aaron.
At that moment, Aaron was in a high-level meeting at the company.
