Chapter 845 Would She Be Unwilling to Leave?
Nora listened carefully and said, "Aaron, you seem to know a lot about Gabriella."
Aaron replied, "Because she's a third party, we have to investigate thoroughly. After all, when it comes to military cooperation, even a small mistake can cost lives."
Nora nodded; she was just making a casual remark.
After all, with Jackson's previous incident of impersonating Aaron through plastic surgery, she couldn't help but feel uneasy about such matters.
They didn't discuss Gabriella any further.
Soon, Gabriella brought over some food.
Seeing that they were almost done eating, she pushed the fruit towards them.
"Mr. Gordon, Mrs. Gordon, have some fruit. The fruit here is very sweet."

Aaron didn't stand on ceremony and forked a piece of fruit into Nora's mouth.
Nora naturally opened her mouth.
Gabriella watched their interaction and smiled, saying, "Mr. Gordon, Mrs. Gordon, you two are such a loving couple. Am I just torturing myself here?"
Nora swallowed the fruit and asked, "Ms. Costa, don't you have a boyfriend?"
Gabriella shrugged and replied, "Haven't met anyone I like yet. Good men are few, and they are all taken. I'd rather not join the crowd and just enjoy my own company."
Nora couldn't help but laugh.
To be honest, Gabriella was quite amusing when she spoke.
"Don't worry, when the time comes, you won't be able to stop it. I used to think the same way you do that I just want to be single and enjoy my life. But in the end, I'm deeply in love with Aaron."
Hearing this, Gabriella playfully leaned in and sniffed Nora.
"I think I feel the scent of love. Mrs. Gordon, let me feel it more; maybe one day I'll find my destined one like you."
Nora laughed again and said, "You will."
After finishing breakfast, they didn't rush to leave and chatted with Gabriella for a while at the table.
Unknowingly, they grew closer.
Initially, Nora's first impression of Gabriella was just average.
Because Gabriella looked very flamboyant and her beauty was aggressive.
While Nora's personality was more gentle inside, so she thought they might not get along.

Gabriella, almost done eating, asked Nora, "I heard from Mr. Gordon that your family is having some issues. If you trust me, you can talk to me about it. I have many friends who might be able to help."
Nora glanced at Aaron. Thinking that Millie's situation wasn't something that couldn't be discussed, she told Gabriella about Millie's background.
Gabriella listened attentively and was thoughtful after hearing it.
"I know this Hugo. My father used to do business with him. My father said he's a very shrewd businessman. How about I go see him and see if I can meditate?"
Hearing this, a hint of appreciation flashed in Aaron's eyes.
"Thank you in advance."
Gabriella, being a third party, was often needed to mediate collaborations between multinational corporations.
Perhaps Hugo would give Gabriella some face and take a step back, allowing them to bring Millie back.
"Mr. Gordon, don't get ahead of yourself. I'm just trying; no guarantees. Don't put pressure on me," Gabriella said.
Aaron smiled and said, "Whether it succeeds or not, we would appreciate your help. We're grateful for your kindness."
Gabriella laughed and said, "Good! You two better remember this when I need a favor."
"Definitely."
After finishing their meal, the three prepared to leave, and Gabriella asked Nora for her contact information.
Back in the room, Aaron pinned Nora against the wall, asking, "You've met her. Do you feel she's your rival in love?"
Nora raised an eyebrow, wrapped her arms around his neck, and made him lower his head.
"Do you want her to be my rival?"
Aaron smiled seductively, replying, "I want her to be your imaginary rival so that you'll love me even more."
Nora couldn't help but laugh and stood on tiptoe to kiss his sexy, thin lips.
Aaron's eyes darkened, and he took the lead, nuzzling her intimately.
At that moment, the doorbell rang.
"Someone's here." Nora dodged a bit.
Aaron's breathing deepened, asking, "Who?"
There was a moment of silence outside. "Is Dr. Smith in?"
It was James's voice.
Nora pushed against Aaron's firm chest.
"It's James."
Aaron's Adam's apple bobbed slightly. He suppressed his desire, straightened Nora's clothes, and then went to open the door.
James was puzzled about why there was a man's voice in the room.
When he saw Aaron, his spirits lifted.
"Mr. Gordon!"
Aaron nodded slightly and said, "Come in and talk."
"Okay."
James entered the room, and Nora poured him some coffee.
"James, is there any news about Millie?"
James nodded and said, "Yes, Ellie just received word that Mrs. Rochet should be going to the hospital for a check-up this morning."
Nora's eyes lit up, asking, "What time?"
"Around ten o'clock."
"Alright, I'll go to the hospital to see her then."
James nodded.
Aaron asked, "Do you know how Millie is doing?"
Nora was eager to know the answer, too, so she looked at James, waiting for his answer.
James said, "I asked. Ellie's friend said that last night, the woman impersonating Emmeline stayed with Millie. Millie didn't cry or ask to go home."
The three of them had complex expressions.
They should have been happy because Hugo wasn't mistreating Millie.
But they couldn't feel happy.
At that moment, Nora and Aaron both thought of the question Billy had asked last night.
Would Millie not want to go home with them?
Aaron was silent for a moment and said, "It seemed that Millie likes that woman?"
James's fingers tightened, saying, "Hugo is really insidious, finding someone to impersonate Emmeline."
Nora understood his fury, but it was a fury born of impotence. They could rail against Gabriel's actions, condemn him in the court of public opinion, but legally, there was nothing they could do.
Nora hesitated for a moment and said, "James, you need to be prepared. We're eager to take Millie away, but if Millie doesn't want to go with us, should we respect her wishes?"
Hearing this, James suddenly looked up, his tone agitated.
"No, we can't leave Millie here. Emmeline hated Stov the most. It was Stov who caused Emmeline's death. We can't let Millie grow up in the enemy's house!"
