Chapter 633 Be Low-key on Others' Turf

Looking at Elara's ambiguous gaze, Nora pursed her red lips. She was certain that Aaron was here.
She asked, "Miss, is my boyfriend here?"

Elara slightly straightened her body and said, "You haven't answered my question."

Nora remained silent for two seconds, implying something, "It depends on whether it's his will. If someone forcibly detains him, it's not betrayal. If he does it willingly, then it's betrayal."

Elara sipped her tea and said, "What I'm asking is, if he slept with another woman, would you still love him?"

Nora stared at her, a hint of sarcasm in her eyes. She said, "I've answered clearly. It seems your understanding is lacking. If he betrays me, naturally, I won't love him anymore. But if he hasn't betrayed me, I have no reason not to continue loving him."

Nora's expression was cold. Her eyes stared directly at Elara as if she were looking at a fool.

Elara's face changed slightly, inexplicably reminded of Aaron.

She was looking at her with the same eyes, using the same mocking tone.

Suddenly, the smile on Elara's face couldn't be maintained.

Noe on the side also noticed a clue. He thought the most important thing now was to find Aaron's whereabouts; it was best to speak nicely to Elara and avoid using force.

After all, this was Elara's territory.

Even the strongest abilities need to be low-key on others' turf.

So Noe spoke gently, "Miss, may I ask again, is Mr. Gordon here? If so, please tell us where Mr. Gordon is now. We will definitely repay your kindness."

Elara glanced at Noe, sizing him up and asking, "And who are you?"

Her tone was stern.

Obviously, she was irritated by Nora's attitude.

"I am Mr. Gordon's assistant," Noe explained in a friendly tone.

Elara nodded. "A lackey, right?"

She looked arrogant, and Noe thought she was really annoying.

But of course, he wouldn't show it.

Noe asked again, "Where is Mr. Gordon?"

"Why should I tell you?" Elara smirked with an arrogant attitude.

This made the usually patient Noe a bit unable to control himself.

None of them spoke, and the atmosphere instantly became tense.

Nora suppressed her emotions and said, "Miss, thank you for saving my boyfriend. What does it take to get you to tell me his whereabouts? Just tell us, and if we can do it, we will definitely do it."

Upon hearing this, Elara raised her chin slightly and looked at her. "Are you sincere? If I say so, will you definitely do it?"

"Yes," Nora replied.

"Then I want him to sleep with me," Elara said.

She wanted to sleep with Aaron!

Nora's face changed slightly; she said, "That's not possible."

Elara sneered, "You outsiders are really unlikeable. Just now, you said you could do anything I said; but after I said it, you said it's not possible."

Nora said, "Anything but that."

Elara waved her hand impatiently and said, "Then there is no need for further negotiation; leave. I've taken a liking to Aaron; I saved him, so he belongs to me now. When I bear his child, if he wants to come back, I will let him."

Nora had nothing to say.

What kind of logic was this from Elara?

In this society, she didn't understand that this was illegal.

Nora's face was grim, but she still tried to persuade her calmly for the last time. She said, "Miss, I don't know who you are here, but Aaron is my boyfriend, and I believe he wouldn't want to stay. Please, let us take him away."

Elara looked at her and said, "What if I don't want you to take him away?"

Nora's fingers curled slightly, her patience wearing thin. She said, "Are you really set on imprisoning my boyfriend here?"

Elara sneered, "Apparently, your comprehension is as scant as your patience. I made it clear just now."

She was still resentful of Nora's sarcasm, so she returned the favor.

Nora pursed her red lips, realizing that being gentle was no longer effective. So, she became more assertive.

She said, "In that case, we'll have to find him ourselves. Frederick!"

Upon hearing Nora's call, Frederick, who was eager to act, responded immediately, "Here!"

"Find him!"

"Yes!"

Frederick began to push his way in.

The accompanying bodyguards stood alert beside Alex and Erin, protecting them and Nora.

Elara was furious, saying, "How dare you act recklessly on my turf!"

Nora's expression was cold. "I'm looking for my boyfriend. There's nothing wrong with that!"

In the blink of an eye, Frederick had already broken into the inner room.

Elara's expression changed rapidly, saying angrily, "Stop him!"

"Yes!" Four burly men guarding the stairs to the inner room came down and started fighting with Frederick.

Frederick, a professional bodyguard, was swift and fierce in his actions.

Although the four burly men had some fighting skills, they were no match for Frederick. In an instant, they were knocked down by Frederick.

Seraphina, standing next to Elara, watched the altercation with a conflicted expression. She said,
"Elara, what if..."

"Shut up!" Elara knew what she was going to say and gave her a fierce glare.

Seraphina opened her mouth but ultimately swallowed her words.

Elara's face is cold, watched as Frederick knocked down several men and ran towards the stairs.

She took out a small bottle from her pocket.

"Stop him! Otherwise, none of you will make it out alive!" Elara gestured as if to pull out the stopper.

Noe had been watching Elara's movements and felt a slight unease. He said, "Dr. Smith, be careful; it might be poisoned."

Nora also watched Elara, knowing that the bottle was suspicious.

Noe had shown her information that Lumirians were famous not only for their customs and beautiful scenery but also for their poisons.

It seemed that Elara was skilled in medicine, especially in using poisons.

The bottle definitely contained some unknown poison.

So they couldn't act rashly; they needed to plan carefully.

Thinking quickly, Nora quickly called out, "Frederick, come back."

Frederick, who was about to go upstairs, heard the call, stopped in his tracks, and reluctantly turned back.

He leaned in close to Nora's ear, saying, "Dr. Smith, Mr. Gordon should be upstairs."

Nora clenched her fist, eager to go upstairs and take Aaron away immediately.

But facing Elara, who seemed difficult to deal with, made her feel powerless.

The feeling of having Aaron right in front of her but being unable to do anything about it was truly maddening.

"Get out," Elara spoke.

Nora and the others didn't move.

Nora took a deep breath and said, "Miss, are the people here all so unreasonable? My boyfriend is a person, not an object. He's not something you can keep just because you want to."

Upon hearing this, Elara smiled coldly and said, "I always get what I want. If he doesn't want to stay, I have ways to make him obedient."

Elara looked arrogant.

Nora stared at her and said, "Who are you exactly? Is there no law here?"
