Hugo looked at her and said, "Jasmine, I want you to stay with me. If you do, you'll have endless wealth. But you heard Dr. Smith; I need to abstain for a year or two. Can you handle the loneliness?"
Jasmine glanced at him, hesitating. "You mean you'll keep me as your mistress?"
"Yes," Hugo nodded.
"But what if Mrs. Rochet can't tolerate me?" Jasmine asked.
"Don't worry, I'm still in charge here. Besides, Aisha is generous; she won't have a problem with you," Hugo said confidently.
Jasmine pinched her fingers and stayed silent. There were no truly generous women in this world. They all appeared generous on the surface but did things behind the scenes. If Hugo's illness was cured by Nora and Aisha got pregnant, Aisha would become even more assertive. Aisha's next step would be to kick her out!
"You seem to have your own ideas. Do you not want to stay with me anymore?" Seeing her silence, Hugo pinched her chin, his tone becoming more serious.
Jasmine looked at Hugo and shook her head. "No."
She hadn't yet decided what to do.
"Really?"
"Yes."
Hugo was satisfied and let go of her. "Your parents said a few days ago that they wanted to expand their store and asked me for money. I had someone transfer the money to them."

Rafael glanced at him and said, "I just had someone check Nora's background. She's not easy to deal with."
Miguel sneered, "Rafael, don't forget this is our territory. Are we really afraid of an outsider?"
"You don't need to worry about this. Leave it to me. Once we kill Nora, we'll find a way to make Mateo foolish again, and you can still be the future king." Rafael's eyes flashed. This was exactly what he wanted to hear from Miguel.
Miguel nodded and said, "Alright, I'll listen to you."
The next day, Noe and Seraphina arrived in Hchilia. Seraphina was full of excitement, and Noe naturally had a big smile, too. The two of them looked like a perfect couple.
Nora accepted Seraphina as her student and took her to Hugo's villa to study by her side. Hugo, knowing that Seraphina was Nora's student, initially wanted to accommodate her in his home, but Nora said it was inconvenient. With him gone, Nora had some free time since no one was bothering her all night. To Nora, teaching Seraphina medicine was more enjoyable than sticking with Aaron. In the afternoon, Nora was performing treatment on Hugo while Seraphina studied nearby. She watched attentively and took notes. After Nora finished the treatment, Seraphina asked about some details. Nora answered all her questions. After they finished talking, Aisha thanked them again.
Then she said, "Dr. Smith, you haven't had a chance to enjoy Hchilia yet, have you?"
"No, I haven't," Nora smiled. Since arriving in Hchilia, she had been preoccupied with Millie's matters and hadn't had time for leisure. In the past two days, Aaron had come, and they spent time in the hotel, which felt like a waste of time.
"The weather is great today, and since your friends are here, why don't I take you all out for some fun?" Aisha suggested.
"Sure!" Nora had no objections to the idea.
"We have a resort in the suburbs called Whispering Woods Resort. The scenery is beautiful. How about we head there now?" Aisha asked for Nora's opinion. Since Aisha found out she was able to conceive, her cheerful personality had become more apparent. She approached life with more enthusiasm.
Nora naturally had no objections. "I'll follow Mrs. Rochet's arrangements."
"I'll have someone prepare right away." Aisha was delighted and began instructing the servants to arrange vehicles and luggage.
Millie, upon hearing they were going out, clapped her hands in excitement. "We're going out to play!"
When Hugo came downstairs after packing, he heard Millie talking about the outing. He asked about the situation and said, "Honey, is it so urgent? Can't we go tomorrow?"
Aisha replied, "We have plenty of time today. What's the difference between going today and tomorrow?"
Hugo looked at her and said, "There is a difference. I'm busy today, but I'm free tomorrow."
Aisha waved her hand and said, "You go do your work. We'll have fun on our own."
Hugo frowned and said, "Honey, are you dismissing me?"
Aisha smiled brightly and replied, "Not dismissing, just ignoring!"
