Chapter 530 Raising the Daughter For Your
Nora's eyes crinkled with a smile, but thinking of Matthew, she felt guilty again.
Matthew had not contacted her in the past few days, and she didn't know how he was doing recently.

Nora's eyes lit up. "Where is he? Is he okay?"

Aaron said, "Today is Friday, so soon?"
"Yes."
Aaron sighed. "Nora, my heart aches for you."
'I didn't expect Emma to be Nora's biological mom. The bone marrow must be donated.'
Nora gave a bitter smile but didn't say anything.
At this moment, Emma was knocking on the door.
Nora said, "I have to go now. I'm going to have dinner with Dad, Mom, and Howard at the Hamilton Manor."
Aaron asked, "Can I join you for dinner there?"

After hanging up the phone, Nora opened the door and went downstairs with Emma.
The group went to the Hamilton Manor; the children were very happy to see Nora.
They surrounded Nora, calling her Mommy.

Emma looked at these adorable children and smiled. "Nora, these are my grandchildren, right? Come over here and let Grandmom take a good look at you."
The children ran over.
Erin glanced at Nora, and Nora smiled, signaling her to go over as well.
The children gathered around Emma, calling her Grandmom; Emma couldn't stop smiling.
She took out several large red envelopes from her bag and handed them to the children.

That night, the atmosphere at the Hamilton Manor was exceptionally good because of the revelation of Nora's identity.
Adelbert was very happy and had a few drinks with Ebenezer and Howard.
Nora also had a small glass.
Her face turned red from the alcohol.
Since Christmas had just passed, Aaron was busy with company matters and didn't come to the Hamilton Manor for dinner.
After dinner, Nora played with the children for a while until Alex's phone alarm went off.
Alex glanced at it and said to Erin. "It's time for our video call with Uncle Matthew."
It turned out that every night at this time, Erin would have a video call with Matthew.
Nora thought for a moment, then stood up and took Erin's hand. "I'll go with you."
Aaron had blocked all of Matthew's contacts on her phone.

"Are you staying at the Hamilton Manor tonight?"
"Yes."
Nora stood aside, listening to Matthew's gentle voice, and leaned over to greet him.
"Mr. Jones."
Matthew was taken aback and then smiled. "Dr. Hamilton, long time no see."
Nora observed his face; Matthew didn't look very well.
She bit her lower lip. "Long time no see. How have you been?"
Matthew smiled. "I'm doing fine."
Probably because the children were there, he didn't want to say much.
Nora felt guilty and didn't say anything either.
Matthew then asked, "Is Mr. Gordon not there?"
"Yes," Nora nodded.
Matthew smiled. "No wonder you're video-calling me."
Nora was speechless.
'Matthew seems to be implying that I'm afraid of Aaron.'
"Alex, take Erin out for a while. I need to talk to Uncle Matthew alone," Nora said to Alex.
Alex nodded, took Erin's hand, and left.
On the other end of the screen, Matthew raised an eyebrow. "What's up? What do you want to talk about?"
Nora thought for a moment. "Mr. Jones, first of all, I want to apologize again. Because of me, you got infected with the virus. Secondly, I want to tell you that I probably can't fulfill the request you made earlier. And if you make another request, I will definitely agree."
"What request?" Matthew asked.
Nora took a deep breath. "I will help you raise Erin."
'If Matthew passes away, as long as he makes this request, I will keep my promise and raise Erin as my daughter!'
She was very serious, but Matthew smiled. "But I don't lack people to raise Erin."
Nora said, "Well, you also said that Erin likes me very much. I think you've been letting Erin stay with me all this time because you want me to raise her, right?"

Matthew on the screen was still as gentle and kind as ever.

Nora saw his lips, which were redder than before, very nervously.
"Mr. Jones, did you just cough up blood?"
Matthew smiled. "Don't worry about me. Just take good care of Erin for me. In a few days, I should take her back home."
