Chapter 818 Directly Pulled Down His Pants
Sandy's eyes softened. "Yes, he is kind by nature, truly a well-behaved man."
Kenneth looked at her deeply, feeling a bit jealous.
He would rather Zephyr not be so good so as not to leave a mark on Sandy's heart.
He was resoluted to treat Sandy and Otis wholeheartedly, so that Sandy would gradually forget Zephyr and be completely devoted to him!
"Nora, please take care of Sandy for a moment; I need to make a call," Kenneth said.
Today's incident was because of his oversight, and he needed to strengthen the security to protect Sandy and Otis.
Outside the emergency room, Jane waited for a while. Zephyr came out after getting his wound bandaged.
Jane approached him to inquire about his condition.
The accompanying doctor said, "Fortunately, it's just a superficial wound, nothing serious. But the wounds are not shallow, so he needs to stay in the hospital for a few days for anti-inflammatory treatment."
Zephyr glanced at his arm and smiled. "It's nothing, just a minor injury. No need to stay in the hospital; I can handle it."
He was a doctor himself, so he could take care of it when he got home.
"How are you going to handle the wound yourself?" Jane said.
"It's not technically difficult," Zephyr said indifferently.
Jane gave him a look. "Zephyr, you are a patient now; you need to listen to the doctor. I've never seen such a disobedient patient."
Zephyr was at a loss for words, feeling that Jane was deliberately mocking him!
"Officer Jane is right. Dr. Wright, I'll arrange a room for you immediately. You should stay in the hospital for a few days to recover."
Kenneth walked over and took over the conversation.
Zephyr looked at him, hesitated for a moment, and didn't object. "Thank you."
Kenneth looked at him sincerely. "I'm the one who should be thanking you. Dr. Wright, thank you for saving me."
"It was nothing."
Zephyr paused. "I just hope you will always cherish Dr. Hernandez."
Kenneth's eyes were deep. "No need to say that; Sandy is my wife, and I will be devoted to her for the rest of my life."
Their eyes met; it seemed like hatred dissolved for a moment, and they became true friends.
Kenneth made a call, and soon, the hospital arranged a room for Zephyr.
"Officer Jane, take him to the VIP room on the third floor," Kenneth said.
"Okay."
"Do you need me to find a nurse for you?" Kenneth asked again.
"Don't bother, it's just a minor injury," Zephyr said.
Kenneth glanced at Jane and nodded. "Right, your girlfriend is here. There's no need for a nurse."
Zephyr's eyes flickered, and he instinctively looked at Jane, wanting to say he didn't want to trouble her.
But he swallowed the words.
"Jane, I'll need your help tonight."
Jane gave him a sideways glance, thinking he was quite natural in ordering her around.
"As long as you behave."
Zephyr's eyelid twitched inexplicably.
'What does it mean to behave?' He thought.
He felt that Jane might do something unexpected.
Sure enough, his feeling was too accurate.
Zephyr felt that Jane was definitely taking revenge on him.
Revenge for his indifference to her in the small fishing village.
When he wanted to get out of bed to drink water, Jane didn't let him, directly handing him the cup.
When he was bored and wanted to look at his phone, Jane confiscated it, saying he was weak and needed to rest.
That was understandable; he was probably a bit dizzy from blood loss.
But the most unreasonable thing was, after two IV drips, he urgently needed to use the bathroom.
Jane insisted on following him.
Zephyr couldn't bear it anymore.
"Officer Jane, my injuries are on my hand and neck, not my legs, so I can go by myself."
Jane said unhurriedly, "You've lost a lot of blood; I'm afraid you'll slip in the bathroom."
Zephyr took a deep breath. "I'm not that fragile."
Jane glanced at him sideways. "You're a patient now. Could you be a bit more obedient?"
Zephyr was at a loss for words; seeing Jane's slightly raised eyebrows, he gritted his teeth.
"Jane, are you doing this on purpose?"
Jane feigned innocence. "What am I doing on purpose?"
Zephyr said, "Taking revenge on me!"
Jane raised an eyebrow. "What bad thing have you done to me that I need to take revenge?"
Zephyr was speechless again.
Jane laughed. "Dr. Wright, don't look like you want to strangle me; what did I say wrong?"
Zephyr took a deep breath and said nothing, carrying the IV bottle towards the bathroom.
Jane could follow if she wanted!
'She's a woman; let's see if she can stay when I take off my pants to pee.'
"Open the door."
Zephyr reached the bathroom, holding the IV bottle, and asked Jane to open the door.
Jane said, "Didn't you say you didn't want me to follow? I guess I'm somewhat useful now?"
Zephyr said nothing, waiting for Jane to open the door before walking straight in.
There was a hook inside for hanging the IV bottle.
Zephyr hung the IV bottle and started to unbuckle his belt.
Because he was on an IV, he hadn't changed into a hospital gown yet.
He planned to change after finishing the IV.
Jane glanced at him, and a scene from the club where she helped him unbuckle his belt flashed in her mind.
She blurted out, "Need me to help you unbuckle it?"
Zephyr paused, also recalling that scene.
His ears inexplicably heated up, and he cleared his throat. "Officer Jane, how could you bring this up so casually? Did you often help men unbuckle their belts?"
Jane looked at him. "Do I look like an fickle woman?"
Zephyr replied, "But you're so skilled at unbuckling belts, if not from frequent practice. Did you learn it on your own?"
"Not on my own."
Jane said, "I used to go undercover as a bodyguard. Bodyguards wear dress pants with belts, so of course, I'm skilled at this."
So that was it!
Zephyr thought of her profession and couldn't help but feel admiration.
At this moment, his belt was already unbuckled.
Seeing Jane still standing there, he couldn't help but say, "Aren't you leaving? Do you really want to watch me pee?"
Jane raised an eyebrow. "What's the big deal? Didn't you watch me pee?"
Zephyr was at a loss for words, understanding she was referring to the incident in the small fishing village.
He gritted his teeth. "That's different. You were seriously injured and couldn't take care of yourself, but I'm different now."
"There is no difference to me; we're both patients."
Jane said, "And I wasn't unable to take care of myself; you were just being presumptuous, enjoying seeing people embarrassed."
Zephyr was speechless. "Jane, you said you're not taking revenge, but you're just trying to embarrass me."
Jane crossed her arms. "You're free to think whatever you please."
Zephyr took a deep breath and nodded. "Fine, if you, a woman, don't find it embarrassed, then I, a man, have nothing to be embarrassed about."
With that, he directly pulled down his pants.
