Chapter 1004 Stop Talking

Gastric Imaging Examination Results: They found a mass in the stomach. It's on the front wall, about 0.6 by 0.8 inches, with clear edges and a regular shape.

Imaging characteristics: The mass looks like a low-density area, a bit less dense than the surrounding stomach wall. No obvious pressure on nearby structures.

Internal characteristics of the mass: The mass has a uniform density, no cystic or solid features.

Lymph node involvement: No significant enlargement or abnormalities in the surrounding lymph nodes.

"What is this?" Ava's eyes widened in shock. "You have a mass in your stomach?"

To Ava, this was like a lightning bolt out of nowhere.

Alexander snatched the report. Just as he was about to leave, Ava grabbed his arm. "Hold on. Explain this. What's going on? Are you sick?"

"It's none of your business." Alexander clutched the report tightly. "You should worry about William."

He shook off her hand, and Ava fell to the ground.

Seeing her fall, Alexander rushed over to help her up. "Ava."

Ava grabbed his hand. "Tell me what's going on. Didn't you have a check-up before? The doctor said you shouldn't drink anymore. Did you start drinking again? Is that why you have a mass in your stomach? Tell me, is that it?"

Alexander suppressed the pain in his heart. "Why do you still care about me? What does my life or death have to do with you?"

Ava shot back, "How can it have nothing to do with me?" But she couldn't bring herself to say he was the father of her child.

How could she tell him now? After all, Madison already had his child.

Ava continued, "You're Grandma's only grandson. If something happens to you, what will she do?"

Seeing Ava's worried expression, Alexander had a glimmer of hope. But when he heard "Grandma," he gave a bitter smile. "Yeah, I'm her only grandson, but what does that have to do with you? Go back to William. My life or death is my own business."

After helping her up, Alexander was about to leave.

Ava stopped him. "Don't go! Alexander, what should you do now? Do you need a biopsy? Tell me!"

Alexander sighed, "Next, they'll do a biopsy, blood tests, and other exams to see if this tumor is benign or malignant."

Ava asked, "When will the tests start? Are you going now? I'll go with you."

Hearing Ava say she'd go with him, Alexander felt a bit moved, but he quickly said coldly, "Don't you need to be with Vincent?"

Ava replied, "He's fine now and already awake. Alexander, if this tumor is benign, that's good. But if it's malignant, then…"

"Ava, stop." Alexander looked at Ava in pain. Her concerned eyes and gentle actions pierced his heart. He knew she no longer belonged to him; their marriage was a thing of the past.

Despite this, Alexander couldn't help but reminisce about their past together. Her concern for him only made his emotions more raw and painful. His eyes flickered with endless pain, his brows furrowed, and his face turned pale.
