Chapter 830 A Stirring Emotion

Mia froze, eyes wide as Brandon's face got close. He had his eyes shut, looking like he was enjoying it. She couldn't move, her body felt weak. Suddenly, she was pushed against the wall with force. Brandon's kiss got more intense. He pressed her shoulder, wrapped an arm around her waist, and slid his hand down her back. Mia went limp, barely able to stand as Brandon held her up against the wall.

As the kiss deepened, Mia's mind went blank. She couldn't think straight until Brandon pinched her waist. Snapping back to reality, she pushed him away with all her strength. Gasping for breath, she looked up at Brandon, who was staring back with a deep, complex gaze. She quickly straightened her clothes, breathing heavily.

Brandon watched her silently before finally saying, "Sorry, I couldn't help myself." His tone was indifferent, like he didn't feel guilty at all. He kissed her without her consent, which was wrong, but Mia wasn't angry. She just felt flustered and wanted to leave.

"Are you okay?" Brandon asked, reaching to touch her face. Mia dodged. "I'm fine." Brandon pulled back, a slight smile on his lips. "Sorry, I thought you felt the same way..."

Mia's glare might have misled him, but kissing her without consent was still his fault. Brandon said, "I'll make it up to you. What do you want?"

Mia replied, "I don't want anything. I won't tell anyone about today. Your reputation is safe."

Brandon smiled, "Do you think I'm worried about that? Even if you tell everyone, it doesn't matter. I did kiss you."

Mia looked at him, confused. Brandon continued, "I'm just afraid you'll hate me and won't want to see me again."

Mia didn't know what to say. "Can I call you Mia?" he asked, not wanting to call her "Ms. Thompson" anymore; it felt too distant. His intentions were clear.

Mia said, "Mr. Smith, I'm already married."

Brandon replied, "I know, I don't mind."

Mia was shocked. She couldn't understand why Brandon would be interested in her. "Mr. Smith, I'm over forty and married. There are many young, beautiful women who like you..."

"Mia," Brandon interrupted, "do you think I'm so shallow that I only like young women?"

Mia lowered her eyes, not daring to look at him. She heard his deep, magnetic voice in her ear. "Why can't a man like me be attracted to a woman with experience? Or do you think all men are the same?"

"Mr. Smith, that's not what I meant. I just don't understand why you..."

Mia felt a bit embarrassed but also moved by him.
