Chapter 933 Pushed into the Fire Pit

After what felt like forever, Mia finally spoke up, "Alexander, look, things are what they are now. You're smart, you know what's best for you. Madison's a good girl, and it's not a bad thing you married her. Scarlett's happy that she can take Ava's place. As for Ava, just let her go, stop holding on."

"Shut up!" Alexander snapped, losing his cool. "Stop using 'for my own good' as an excuse to make me give up on Ava. I'm so tired of hearing that! Are you even my real mom? Sometimes it feels like you're more on William's side. Do you think I can't see that?"

He never expected Mia to be biased towards him, but she shouldn't be against him either, right? At the very least, she should be fair!

And now, he even felt that Mia wasn't favoring Ava but was favoring William, who had nothing to do with her.

He really couldn't understand it.

Mia's heart trembled when she heard Alexander's angry roar.

"Alexander, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way. You are my son, of course, I'm your real mom. I'm doing this for your own good," Mia replied.

"Shut up!" Alexander interrupted her angrily, "I'm sick of you doing things for my own good. Please, don't do anything that is 'for my own good.' Don't contact me again!"

With that, Alexander hung up the phone. He threw the phone hard against the wall.

The screen shattered instantly. Curtis stood straight beside him, not saying a word.

The entire ward suddenly fell into a deadly silence.

After a long time, Curtis spoke, "Although I don't understand what you were talking about, I think you need to rest."

At that moment, the phone in Curtis's pocket rang.

He took out the phone and answered it, "I understand."

After hanging up, Curtis said to Alexander, "Mr. Mitchell, it seems they've found Ms. Anderson's car."

"What?" Alexander's emotions surged upon hearing this. He immediately pulled out the needle from the back of his hand, threw off the covers and rushed out of bed.

After hanging up the phone, Mia covered her mouth and said painfully, "Alexander, I'm sorry, really sorry."

Dalton came out of the bathroom after a shower and saw Mia sitting on the bed crying, feeling extremely distressed.

Half an hour ago, she was still happy in his arms and now she was crying her heart out.

He lay down beside her and hugged her, "Sweetie, don't cry. The kids are grown up, they can handle their own relationship issues."

"Let go of me!" Mia pushed him away forcefully, "It's all your fault. You took William away, causing me to miss out on so many years with him. And now you suddenly tell me he's my son. Dalton, do you enjoy dragging me into the terrible situation?"

"If you think about it in other ways, it's not a terrible situation. You can leave George and be with me, then admit you're William's mother. I'll explain everything to William. It's not your fault, it's all my fault. He will understand," Dalton replied.

"Dalton, it's easy for you to say. Things have gotten so bad, and now you really think saying something like that will solve the problem?"
