Chapter 1161 Fighting for Seats
"Ava, I know I was wrong."
Ava held Sunny in her arms, looking at him helplessly, "You always say that, and then you keep doing it."
William's heart trembled, "Ava, I..."
He wanted to explain something to her, but Ava interrupted him harshly, "Don't say anything, just get in the car."
They had come in a car.
Ava got in the car first, placed Sunny in the car seat, fastened the seatbelt, and then sat in the back seat.
William and Eason were fighting over who would sit in the back.
The back seat had three seats, one of which had a child seat installed, so only two seats were available for adults, meaning one person had to sit in the front passenger seat.
Eason and William started arguing outside the car again.
William said irritably, "You sit in the front."
"You sit in the front, I already sat there on the way here, it's your turn now."
The two of them couldn't come to an agreement.
Ava was getting a headache, "Alright, stop arguing. William, you sit in the front."
She felt pressured around William.
William was a bit disgruntled, but since Ava had said so, he couldn't refuse and obediently sat in the front passenger seat, fastening his seatbelt.
He glanced coldly at Bishop, but Bishop didn't look at him, starting the engine and driving away.
The car was very quiet, everyone was silent, and Sunny sat obediently in the car seat while Eason kept playing with him.
William saw Eason interacting with Sunny through the rearview mirror, and it made him furious.
Damn Eason, he would deal with him sooner or later.
When the car reached downstairs, Ava suddenly noticed a familiar figure.
Alexander was walking out from inside.
The back window was open, and Alexander saw Ava through the window, immediately running towards the car and blocking the front.
Bishop hit the brakes.
The car stopped just inches from Alexander's knees.
Seeing Alexander, they all became unsettled.
Everyone opened the car doors and got out.
"Alexander, what are you doing here? Are you still trying to harass Ava? This is too much!" William immediately criticized.
Bishop didn't say much, just stood there with his arms crossed, looking at him coldly.
Ava didn't expect Alexander to come here. Wasn't what happened at Scarlett's grave enough for him? He actually followed her here.
Seeing Ava with three men, Alexander was furious. He ignored them and immediately walked over to Ava's side, "Ava, I need to talk to you."
Ava closed her eyes, took a deep breath to adjust her emotions, then opened the door and got out of the car, "What are you doing here? Haven't you caused enough trouble?"
"I want to talk to you."
"What is there to talk about? Just go protect Madison, why come to me?"
"I..." Alexander wanted to explain, but seeing the other men there, he didn't want to argue with Ava in front of them, knowing they would be pleased.
"Ava, I'm not here to protect her, I just want to clear things up with you. After all, Scarlett was my grandmother too, and I want to know the truth. Can we talk? I was really worried after you left today."
He didn't realize his worry was unnecessary, as these men had rushed to find her, taking advantage of the situation.
