Chapter 609 He Was Going Crazy

Ava hurried to William's side, grabbed his wrist, and led him away.

William turned and cast a smug glance at Alexander, then wrapped his arm around Ava's waist, drawing her close.

"Ava!" Alexander ran after her, desperate to stop her, but after a few steps, he suddenly halted! He pondered, 'No, I can't be so rash. If I chase after them now, it would only lead to another argument, just like before, endlessly entangled, making things worse.'

He had to admit that Ava was convinced that he had hurt William, and now William had the upper hand.

He thought chasing after them now would do him no good and would only make Ava hate him more. He wondered his next move. Suddenly, he was reminded that there was someone who could help him.

Alexander quickly walked toward the door.

"Alex, where are you going?" Isabella called after him.

Without looking back, Alexander said, "Stay here. I'll have someone come to pick you up. I have something to handle."

"Alex!" Isabella tried to catch up but Alexander was too fast. Frustrated and furious, she finally stomped her foot. "Damn it! Ava, it's all your fault, all your fault!"

A man dressed as a waiter stood stomped, watching everything unfold with a cold smile on his lips. Then he took out his phone and called Isabella.

Hearing her phone ring, Isabella took it out of her bag and put it to her ear. "Hello," she said.

"Isabella, you're completely useless. You can't even make Alexander truly fall for you."

"It's you!" Isabella immediately asked, "Where are you now? I need your help. Can you kill Ava for me? If you do, I'll do anything you want!"

"I've done plenty for you already, and you haven't accomplished a single thing for me. Now, you want me to kill your rival? I'm not your tool."

"Then tell me what you want. We can make a deal! We're partners!"

"I had plans for you, but over time, I've realized you're becoming more and more useless. Alexander doesn't care about you anymore, so why should I?"

"No, I can still be useful. Please help me. I'm begging you." Isabella pleaded anxiously.

"You're not very bright, are you? If you want my help, prove you're worth it. Show results, or do you expect me to help you forever?"

"What kind of results do you want?"

"That's for you to figure out. If all you can do is play the victim, then you're of no use to me."

With that, Eason hung up.

Isabella was so angry she wanted to smash her phone!

Meanwhile, Ava took William to the hospital for a thorough check-up.

The results showed that William was fine. His forehead had some bruising, but it hadn't caused any serious harm. Relieved, Ava sighed.

"William, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left you. I should be by your side all the time."

"Don't worry, Ava. It's not your fault. Maybe Alexander is mad at me. He thinks I took you away from him," William said calmly and innocently.

"William, you didn't take me away. He's the one losing his mind. I won't let this happen again."
