Chapter 819 Creepy

Isabella left the hospital and went straight home, locking herself in her room to cry. She hoped Alexander would come after her, but he never did.

A knock on the door made her heart leap. She thought, 'Alexander's here; he couldn't let her go.' Quickly wiping her tears and fixing her hair, she opened the door, only to see Eason standing there. Her face turned cold. "Why is it you?"

Eason walked in and shut the door. "Crying here won't help. He can't see you."

Isabella clenched her fists. "You said you'd help me, but Alexander left me."

"Didn't I help?" Eason looked puzzled. "I got you a heart and shares of SkyLabs, didn't I?"

Eason now controlled SkyLabs through third-party agents, keeping his involvement hidden. Seeing Isabella's defiance, he pinched her face. "You have money, a heart, and your life. Why can't you let go of Alexander?"

"I can't accept it!" Isabella snapped. "We were about to get married, but he left me for Ava! And now there's another woman, Madison. Where did she come from?"

Eason smirked, and Isabella realized. "This was your plan! You put Madison by Alexander's side!"

Eason shrugged, pouring a glass of water. "Yeah, I did."

"Why?" Isabella demanded. "What's your goal?"

Eason sipped his water nonchalantly. "I thought it was fun."

"Fun?" Isabella shouted. "Your fun is my pain! Are you satisfied now?"

"I have no choice. You're a failure. You can't make Alexander fall for you," Eason mocked.

Isabella raised her hand to hit him, but Eason grabbed her wrist and pushed her aside. "You're the head of SkyLabs now. Starting tomorrow, this news goes public."

"But you said it wouldn't be public!" Isabella protested.

"No, you heard wrong," Eason interrupted. "You need to make public appearances while I stay the mysterious mastermind. Just follow my instructions."

Seeing her confusion, Eason added, "Don't you want to show your father and sister that you have everything under control? Don't you want your company to rival SK Group?"

Isabella was skeptical. "You think I can do that?"

Eason laughed. "Of course not."

Isabella's face stiffened. "Then why..."

"Because I can do that," Eason said. "You just need to follow my lead."

Holding his glass, Eason's demeanor was cold. "SK Group and InnovaCorp need a new rival to keep things interesting."

"Why should I listen to you?" Isabella asked.

"Do you think you can do it alone?" Eason challenged.

"How do you know I can't?" Isabella retorted.

"Our cooperation hasn't even started, and you're already defying me," Eason sneered.

"We're partners; you can't order me around. Don't forget, I know what you've done," Isabella warned.

"Yes, you have something on me," Eason said indifferently. "But you seem to forget, you called the police when Ava was kidnapped, almost getting her killed. You asked me to kill for a heart. If Alexander knew the real you, do you think he..."

"Shut up!" Isabella's face turned pale. "You have no evidence!"

Eason patted her shoulder gently. "Isabella, don't mess with me. Cooperate with me, or I'll destroy you. Understand?"

Seeing his smile, Isabella felt a chill down her spine.
