Chapter 1109 Mental State
Madison brought Emily to the guest room, and Emily immediately threw herself onto the bed, exclaiming, "Wow, this bed is so soft, and the room smells so nice. I wish I could live here forever."
Madison's face turned cold. She actually wanted to live here forever? How thick-skinned.
But outwardly, Madison still smiled and walked forward, saying, "Emily, you need to be a bit more polite here. After all, this isn't our home."
"Alexander is your boyfriend, so this is kind of your home too. Sooner or later, this place will be yours, and as your cousin, I'll benefit from it too."
"It's not that fast yet. Don't say such things next time, especially in front of Alexander."
"Why not? Haven't you two already slept together? You should get pregnant with his child as soon as possible. If you can't, let me do it. As long as one of us sisters marries into the Mitchell family, it's fine."
Emily didn't see anything wrong with what she said.
Madison's smile froze.
If Emily stayed here, she would definitely try to seduce Alexander.
But with her looks, she definitely wouldn't succeed. Still, Madison was worried Emily would cause trouble.
"Stop talking nonsense. You rest here for a bit, and I'll get you some juice."
"Alright, thanks." As soon as Madison left, Emily took out her phone from her pocket.
Madison had just reached the door when she heard Emily exclaim.
Madison turned her head, "What's wrong?"
"This damn author is cursing at me!"
Madison came to the bed, "What are you talking about?"
Emily angrily said, "I've been reading this novel for months, and it makes me so mad. I've been cursing at the author for months, and now the author dares to curse back at me. It's too much!"
"What book is it that makes you so angry? Novels are all fiction; just read them and let it go. Why get so worked up?" Madison advised.
"No, this one really makes me mad. I can't stand it. This shameless author must have experienced it herself; otherwise, how could she write it so well!"
Emily pulled Madison over and started badmouthing the author.
All the bad things she said were just her own imagination, with no truth to them.
After a full half hour, Madison came out of the room with a headache and closed the door.
Inside the room, Emily was still shouting and cursing, as if she had lost it.
Madison shook her head helplessly.
Just then, Alexander walked over.
"What's wrong with her? Why is she shouting?"
Madison took his arm, "Alexander, I'm sorry. She's reading a novel and got a bit emotional."
Alexander was puzzled, "Getting this emotional over a novel?"
Madison continued, "She's really pitiful. Her life isn't great, so she likes to vent online. She loves reading novels with scumbag male leads and vents her anger in the comments, posting thousands of abusive comments. These comments are mostly directed at the female leads or the authors. She finds a sense of existence this way because her life is empty and lonely. She longs for a scumbag to fill her life, so she never scolds the scumbag male leads, showing a double standard."
"Really?" Alexander said, "She can curse that much?"
"Yeah." Madison continued, "Emily just told me she's reading a novel, and because the plot didn't go as she expected, with the female lead not forgiving the scumbag male lead and instead being nice to the supportive male character, Emily couldn't take it. She curses at the female lead and the author every day, using all kinds of foul language to attack the author, suspecting and slandering them. Although I'm her cousin, I find her comments and statements really disgusting and ill-mannered."
"Whenever a clear-headed reader speaks up for the female lead or scolds the scumbag male lead, Emily goes crazy and curses at them, using foul language to insult the female lead and the author. Then she takes screenshots of her dirty comments and shows them off everywhere, looking for validation."
Alexander found Emily's continuous cursing from the room very grating.
He pulled Madison aside, "Is her mental state okay? Can she distinguish between fiction and reality?"
