Chapter 1051 Feeling Suffocated
No matter it was Alexander or William, she just wanted to stay far away from them. She could live her life with Sunny on her own.
As Ava turned to leave, William rushed forward and hugged her from behind.
William said, "Ava, don't go, listen to me!"
Ava asked, "The evidence is right here. What do you want to explain? Do you want to say you didn't do it? Do you want to say the video is fake?"
William responded, "Ava, the video is real. I did do it, but I was just desperate at the time. Do you know how worried I was about you? I was going crazy trying to find you. I had no choice but to go to find Alexander. I thought he had imprisoned you, so I acted impulsively!"
William apologized, "Ava, I'm really sorry!"
William turned Ava around, his eyes filled with panic. "I really know I was wrong. I was just too anxious at the time. Since you watched the video, you should have seen the part where Alexander took the gun and beat me up. I didn't go back to seek revenge. If I really wanted to kill him, I could have gone back with bodyguards, but I didn't! Ava, I really just wanted to find you. I just wanted to scare him. I never intended to kill him!"
"Whether you were trying to scare him or kill him, only you know," Ava said sadly. "Even if you tell me now that you were just trying to scare him, I can't believe you anymore. William, you gave me very beautiful memories. I used to respect you a lot. I thought you were a good person, so I chose to trust you, but you betrayed my trust. I still say the same thing: I want a divorce. I can't live with you anymore."
Just thinking about it made her feel suffocated. She couldn't even bear to stay married to him, let alone share a bed.
She couldn't accept it from the beginning, and she certainly couldn't accept it in the future.
She thought over everything that had happened. The more she thought about it, the more she realized she didn't know William at all. Had he changed, or had he always been this way, and she just hadn't noticed?
William's eyes were red, and hot tears streamed down his face. "Ava, I really know I was wrong. Please give me another chance."
William implored, "Ava, I'm begging you, please give me another chance."
William held her tightly, but Ava struggled to break free with all her strength. "Let's just separate. Both you and I need to calm down. No matter what, I appreciate you for taking care of Sunny. You've worked hard."
Ava went to the nursery to take Sunny away.
She really didn't want to talk to William anymore. She just wanted to leave, filled with an unprecedented sense of urgency.
Alexander had hurt her deeply. His body and mind were no longer clean.
William's kindness had been a ray of light in her bleak life, but his deception shattered her perception of him, leaving her terrified.
Alexander made her feel unsafe, but now William made her feel afraid.
She didn't even dare to leave Sunny with him.
On the plane, she had been thinking about how to talk to William and handle this situation, the moment the plane landed, she made a decision. She couldn't drag this out any longer.
