Chapter 1211 Prescribing Medicine Again

Alexander's tone was somewhat harsh, and Madison seemed frightened. She sat up in bed, clutching the blanket to cover her body, trembling.

"I suddenly thought last night of a place where my ex-boyfriend might be hiding and wanted to tell you, but as soon as I came in, you pulled me onto the bed." Madison bit her lip and lowered her head, and tears fell like broken beads.

Based on Madison's words, Alexander tried desperately to recall, but it was as if a part of his memory was missing, and he couldn't remember doing such a thing.

"Are you saying I forced you?"

"I didn't mean that." Madison clutched the blanket tighter. "Alexander, if you want to make love to me, I would definitely be willing. There's no question of force. I thought you wanted me at that moment. I didn't expect you to question me as soon as you woke up. What's going on? Did I do something wrong?"

Alexander recalled that he seemed to have lost control of his emotions last night when he saw Ava.

Could it be that he was confused due to the influence of medication?

Alexander's head suddenly hurt. He picked up the clothes beside him and put them on, then lifted the blanket, got out of bed, and walked towards the bathroom.

At the bathroom door, Alexander stopped, turned his head, and said to Madison, "Put on your clothes and go back to your room."

It was as if a disaster had occurred, making Alexander feel utterly terrible.

He slammed the bathroom door shut.

Meanwhile, Madison lowered her head, unable to stop her tears from falling.

More than an hour later, Madison stood by the window and saw Alexander driving away.

What did Alexander think about what happened last night? He didn't even want to talk to her. Didn't he want to take responsibility?

Madison lowered her head and gently touched her flat stomach.

Could she be pregnant with Alexander's child?

Alexander took his medication and went to see the doctor who had been treating him, explaining the situation.

After listening, the doctor was silent for a moment, then picked up the medication and looked at the quantity inside. He then said, "Mr. Mitchell, considering the time since I last prescribed this medication, there shouldn't be so little left. Have you been taking more than the prescribed amount?"

Alexander asked, "Are you saying that taking too much could lead to loss of control and other emotional side effects?"

"It's not certain yet, but this medication does have many side effects, especially since you often don't follow the prescribed dosage. I think you should stop taking it for a while and see."

"No, I can't stop taking it," Alexander said seriously. "Without it, I can't sleep. Maybe you can prescribe something with fewer side effects."

The doctor said, "Psychiatric medications all have many side effects. Even if we find one with relatively fewer side effects, it might not be suitable for your condition, and taking it could backfire."

The doctor thought for a moment and said, "How about this? I'll prescribe some sleeping pills to help you sleep, but you must follow the prescribed dosage and not take too much, or you could become dependent."

Alexander glanced at the medication he had just placed on the table, a hint of doubt in his eyes.

He reached out, took the medication back, and put it in his pocket. "Then prescribe the sleeping pills."

The doctor said, "If I prescribe sleeping pills, you can't take the previous medication anymore."

"I understand," Alexander said. "Just prescribe the medication."

Seeing this, the doctor didn't say anything more and prescribed some sleeping pills for Alexander, but not in large quantities, fearing he might take too much.
