Chapter 896 Ask Clearly

Ava was cruising down the road, with no clue where she was headed. She was fuming, her heart pounding with rage, but she had nowhere to let it out. She felt like she was gonna explode.

Her chest suddenly started to hurt like hell. Realizing something was off, Ava pulled over, clutching her chest and gasping for air.

"Alexander, you jerk! How could you not want your own kid? Yeah, I picked William last time and hurt you, but Sunny's innocent. Why don't you want your kid?" Ava gripped the steering wheel, talking to herself, almost losing it, her head pressed against the wheel, shaking all over.

Suddenly, she snapped her head up.

She had to see Alexander, she needed a clear answer.

But she had no idea where he was. If she called, he might not even pick up.

After a moment, Ava started the car again. There was one place she could try her luck.

Half an hour later, Ava's car stopped near a standalone villa.

The lights were on, someone was definitely home.

This was Alexander's crib in Stellaria.

Being part of the Mitchell family, she knew where they had properties all over. Since Alexander was in Stellaria, he was either at a hotel or here.

Alexander had more than one place in Stellaria, and Ava wasn't sure which one it was, but this house was closest to her, so she gave it a shot. And bingo, he was there.

Suddenly, she saw Alexander step out of the yard.

He stood on the steps, pulling a cigarette from his pocket.

Ava gripped the steering wheel tighter.

'Why the hell is he smoking?' she thought.

Just as Ava was about to get out, a woman appeared behind Alexander—it was Madison.

She walked up, snatched the cigarette from his hand, and stomped it out, looking pissed.

Alexander was taken aback for a sec, but then he rubbed her head gently and handed her a pack of smokes.

Madison pocketed the cigarettes and hugged Alexander, acting all cute.

Alexander hugged her back.

Seeing them so close, Ava started shaking.

'Are they really a thing? How could this be? Alexander, you don't want your kid, but you're with another woman?' she thought bitterly.

Ava couldn't wrap her head around why Alexander didn't react when she told him about the kid.

The more she thought about it, the more she couldn't stand it. She needed to confront him.

Ava angrily got out of the car, stormed to the door, and pounded on it hard.

The two hugging turned their heads, surprised to see Ava.

Alexander was stunned and almost instinctively pushed Madison away.

Madison stumbled back, almost falling.

Alexander pulled her back, checking her over, "Madison, you okay?"

Madison shook her head, "I'm fine. What's she doing here?"

Alexander said, "I have no idea."

Ava spoke up, "Alexander, I need to talk to you."

Alexander, holding Madison's shoulders, said, "Wait here a sec. I'll go over."

Just as he was about to leave, Madison held his hand, "Alexander, will you come back?"

"Of course." Alexander gently freed his hand from hers and walked to the door.
