Chapter 1277 The People Around
"You saved him?" Ava sneered, "How dare you say that? You shot an arrow through his chest, I saw it. You are truly vicious. If Alexander hadn't been lucky, he would be dead."
"You are really naive. And have you forgotten? It was you who chose to let me hurt Alexander. You chose to protect William back then, so why are you blaming me now? If you were afraid Alexander would die, you shouldn't have made that decision."
"Enough!" Ava said angrily, "It was you who despicably threatened me, you made things this way, causing everyone pain, and now you want to clear your name?"
"Ava, actually, I wanted to tell you, you should have chosen to let William get hurt back then."
"Neither of them should have been hurt, Eason, you are truly vicious!"
"Vicious?" Eason suddenly laughed. He lunged at Ava, pinning her against the windowsill, gripping her shoulders so tightly it seemed he would crush her bones.
"Ava. Do you know? William secretly helped me too. Isabella's father's company was acquired by me with William's help. I am now the hidden owner of that company, and it has grown bigger and bigger. I am very rich now."
"What did you say? That's impossible." Ava didn't believe it.
"What's impossible? William was bought by me back then."
"How could William be bought by you? You hurt him, almost killed him, how could he be bought by you?"
"When I bought William, he didn't know it was me who caused his trouble. I bought him under the guise of your kidnapper. As for why William agreed, it's because I had dirt on him. If he didn't agree, didn't listen to me, I would expose what he did."
"What did William do?"
"You want to know? I'm afraid you'll be more and more pained after knowing, after all, everyone around you is deceiving you. What will you do? The William you trust is not what he seems."
Ava felt as if a fog had enveloped her, making it hard to see the way forward.
"Besides you, who else around me is deceiving me? If you know, tell me everything. I don't want to be deceived anymore."
Being deceived by Eason to this extent, she couldn't imagine anything worse.
"I can tell you, but you have to eat first. After you finish eating, I'll show you something good."
"I have no appetite now, I can't eat."
"You have to eat even if you can't, otherwise I'll get angry and go back to find your child..."
"Don't hurt him, you promised me!"
Ava didn't know how Sunny was now. It was so late, Sunny must be very hungry, he would definitely cry a lot, and she didn't know if it would disturb the neighbors.
She had pressed the alarm button before leaving, and the police would go there. She thought that if the police couldn't contact her, they would know something was wrong and break in, and Sunny would be saved.
But she didn't expect the police to be so easily dismissed by Eason.
Now she could only hope that Bishop would return quickly, or that Sunny's crying would disturb the neighbors.
"If you eat, I'll tell you how Sunny is."
"How is he?" Ava asked anxiously, "Tell me first, tell me and I'll eat."
"No, you eat first and then I'll tell you." Eason's tone was not to be resisted.
Ava wiped the tears from her face, then ran to the table and started eating.
Ava forced herself to swallow the food despite the pain.
Soon, she finished the meal, and immediately put down the fork and said, "Tell me quickly how Sunny is."
Eason surely knew everything.
