Chapter 922 You Are Not Qualified
No matter if it was him or William, finding Ava was way more important than their beef.
"I don't need you to tell me what to do!" William yelled, fuming. "Alexander, what right do you have to look for her? If anyone should look for her, it should be me. I'm her husband."
Alexander stepped up and grabbed William by the collar, "William, I was her husband too, and I've known her longer than you. No matter what, Ava is the most important woman to me. So whether I love her or go looking for her, you'd better shut up because you have no right!"
With that, Alexander shoved William hard to the ground and turned to head upstairs.
"Alexander, you have no right to love her. You betrayed her. When you had her, you were with another woman, divorced her, and now you regret it and want to take her from me. You're not a man, you're a beast!" William shouted.
"The alarm system's been activated. Cops will be here in five minutes. You got four minutes to leave." Alexander ignored William's words.
It had already come to this. So what if he was a beast? He and Ava were divorced. He lost that woman and that was the price he paid.
He didn't blame Ava for being with another man, after all, he betrayed her first. But William was too sneaky.
William gritted his teeth and angrily got up from the ground.
"Alexander, this isn't over. I won't let you off!"
With that, William stumbled towards the door.
As soon as the door opened, he fell forward and his subordinate immediately supported him.
"Mr. Bennett, are you okay?" a man in black asked.
"Go!" William pushed the person away and staggered forward, his eyes filled with burning anger.
Alexander walked to the door and knocked, "Madison, it's me. It's okay now. Open the door."
Hearing his voice, Madison immediately opened the door. Seeing Alexander standing outside, she rushed over and hugged him tightly.
"Alexander, I'm so glad you're okay," she immediately checked his body.
Noticing some injuries on his face, she said worriedly, "Alexander, your face."
Although she had been hiding in the room, she could sense what had happened downstairs.
Fortunately, Alexander wasn't seriously hurt.
"I'm fine, just some scratches. Sorry to make you worry," Alexander said.
"Alexander, what should we do now? Will that person come back to trouble you?" Madison asked.
"It doesn't matter. The point is Ava is missing. I have to find her. I'll have someone come here to take care of you and there will be many bodyguards. You stay here for now. If you want to hang out, that's fine, just take the bodyguards with you," Alexander said.
"What did you say?" Madison said in shock. "You're going to find your ex-wife? Why?"
"Because she's my ex-wife. She's missing, and I have to find her," Alexander explained.
"But she has a husband. That man named William is her husband. Shouldn't William be the one to find her? Why you?" Madison looked at Alexander with tears in her eyes, unwilling to let go, gripping his arm tightly.
"Because I love her. So no matter what, I won't abandon her. If something happens to her, I won't stand by. No matter what, I will find her." Alexander said firmly.
