Chapter 624 Admitting Mistakes and Correcting Them
Ava pondered, 'Human beings are complex, and everyone can have evil thoughts. Maybe William acted on impulse at that moment and he was blinded by anger. Moreover, if William were truly a sinister and cunning person, how could he admit such a thing to me so quickly? His admission means he feels guilty and knows that what he did was wrong. Making mistakes is not scary; what's scary is not correcting them. However, William admitted his mistake and corrected it quickly.'
Gradually, Ava wasn't angry anymore. In the end, she sighed helplessly. "Alright, I understand."
"So, have you forgiven me?" William asked anxiously.
Ava thought for a moment and said, "I can't accept this right away. After all, it completely contradicts my previous understanding of you. Give me some time."
"Will you leave me?" His greatest fear was Ava's departure from his side.
"William, I won't leave you. Don't worry. I won't change my attitude towards you because of this. I understand how you felt at the time; you must have been too angry, which led to such evil thoughts. But since you can admit your mistake and correct it, there is still time. Besides, it was Alexander who provoked you first."
Hearing Ava say this, William breathed a sigh of relief. "Ava, I can apologize to him."
"No need," Ava said, "Although you were wrong, he also bears some responsibility. But it's obvious he won't apologize to you. I'll explain everything to him; you don't need to find him and risk him deliberately causing more trouble."
No matter what, Ava felt this issue started because of her, so she would resolve it.
"Ava, thank you for understanding me. I won't do such again. I'll listen to you."
Even though he had made a mistake, his current sincere demeanor made it hard to blame him.
Ava gently patted his arm. "It's okay, as long as you know you were wrong. Everyone makes mistakes."
Seeing William still crying, Ava took out a tissue to wipe his tears. "Don't cry like a child. It's okay. I'm glad you admitted it to me and I won't blame you."
His proactive admission was much better than her finding out passively, which would only increase her suspicions about him.
He brought up the issue directly without hiding it from her, so it wasn't too late.
To change the subject, Ava said, "By the way, William, there's something I want to tell you. I don't know if you're interested."
"What is it?" William asked.
Ava took his hand. "Sit down first."
William nodded and then sat down on the chair.
Ava told William about medical institutions.
After listening, William was silent for a while.
Ava said, "I can show you the information. It's entirely up to you. I'll fully respect your decision. If you want to go, you will go. Suppose you don't want to, you won’t. I won't force you."
William replied, "Ava, I know you won't force me, but I have a question for you."
"What question?" Ava asked.
"Tell me the truth. Do you want me to go there for treatment?"
Hearing William's question, Ava was stunned for a moment. After a few seconds, she nodded honestly. "Of course, I hope you can go there for treatment because I have read the report all night, and I think it's very suitable for you."
