After pushing Ava away, Alexander hurriedly helped Madison up.
Ava lost her balance, staggered backward, and was about to fall to the ground.
"Ava." Alexander reached out to pull her back, but it was too late.
At the critical moment, a black figure shot over like a rocket, catching Ava from behind and preventing her from hitting the ground.
Ava fell into a broad chest. She turned her head and saw a pale yet handsome face, "Bishop, why are you here?"
William and Eason had intended to help Ava, but Bishop got there first.
The two men, feeling indignant, hurriedly stepped forward to show their concern, speaking simultaneously, "Ava, are you okay?"
William and Eason already didn't get along, and now they glared at each other.
Ava immediately stood up straight, "I'm fine."
She turned to Bishop, "Why are you here?"
Bishop, dressed in black and looking serious, gazed at Ava with concern, "I was worried about you, so I came to check on you. And now I see you're being bullied."
Bishop's sharp gaze fell on Alexander.
Alexander was still supporting Madison. Seeing that Ava was okay, he sighed in relief.
He pushed Madison aside and then approached Ava.
"Ava, if there's something to discuss, let's do it calmly. Don't make a scene in front of Grandma's grave, okay?"
Hearing Alexander's words, Ava laughed in anger, "You think I'm making a scene? Just because your Madison is calm, weak, and innocent? Alexander, just admit you're protecting her. Don't use Grandma as a shield. Grandma is already dead, and if she was really murdered, then let's get to the bottom of it today. Otherwise, she won't rest in peace."
Ava realized that no matter how much she backed down, it was all for nothing with these vile people in charge.
"Enough!" Alexander interrupted her, "Ava, when did you become like this? You weren't like this before! Grandma loved you the most. Do you want her to die with regrets? Come back with me."
Alexander stepped forward to grab her hand.
"Don't touch her." Bishop pulled Ava behind him and pushed Alexander, "Stay away from Ava, you brainless jerk!"
Alexander's anger flared up, "Bishop, what does this have to do with you? You're just an outsider. This is between Ava and me, you..."
