Chapter 986 A Complete Jerk
"Madison..." Alexander didn't even know if he should blame her. He believed that Madison would do such a foolish thing for him.
Madison said, "Alexander, I just wanted to make you happy. I didn't mean anything else. I'm sorry."
Madison started crying in his arms. The way she cried would make anyone feel heartbroken.
Alexander sighed helplessly and held her tighter. Then, he looked at Ava again. "No matter what, Madison didn't do it on purpose. How could you hit her?"
Ava smiled helplessly and thought, 'Alexander is really good at playing dumb. Does he think that I slapped Madison because she said this? Madison is really cunning, and alexander is truly doting on Madison. Even though he knows Madison has said such a thing, he doesn't blame her at all.'
Ava said sarcastically, "I'm really sorry. I apologize. I shouldn't have hit her. After all, she's carrying your child and is now your treasure."
"Good that you know," Alexander said angrily. "Didn't you already let it go? If you have, why did you still hit her? If you want to hit someone, hit me. Why hurt Madison? If you have any issues, come at me."
Then Alexander suddenly remembered that Ava had once said the same thing to him.
If he had any issues, he should come at her and not hurt William.
These two were really something.
But Alexander couldn't realize that he was the one who started all this.
Ava slowly walked up to Alexander and slapped him hard. She used all her strength in that slap.
Madison screamed in anger and held Alexander tightly. "Why did you hit Alexander? If you have any issues, come at me. Don't hurt him!"
Madison cried hysterically, as if Ava's slap had landed on her.
Ava snorted coldly, "Ms. Allen, get it straight. Alexander said if I have any issues, come at him. I'm coming at him now. He was okay with it, so don't protect him here."
Alexander held Madison tightly, his face showing the mark of the slap.
The scene looked somewhat eerie, as if Ava was persecuting them. Especially with Madison crying like that, anyone would think Ava was extremely vicious.
"Have you had enough?" Alexander said coldly. "If not, hit me a few more times, but you can't hurt Madison anymore. Don't touch a single hair on her."
Ava laughed bitterly. "Then let her go and let me have a good beating."
She really wanted to beat Alexander up. From the moment he asked for a divorce until now, so many things had happened between them. Every time she thought about it, Ava felt heartbroken.
They were already divorced, but Alexander always acted like he was the one who was wronged, even though he was the one who insisted on the divorce.
She chose William in a dangerous situation, but it was an extreme circumstance. She didn't mean to harm Alexander. She went back to find him later and never gave up, always trying to contact him to talk. But Alexander avoided her, refused to listen to her apologies, and didn't want to hear anything she had to say, wallowing in his own sadness.
Since that was the case, it meant he had completely given up. If he had given up, he should have just let it go. But instead, he traveled all the way to Stellaria, bringing his pregnant girlfriend to provoke her.
