Chapter 1287 Startling the Snake
"You speak so lightly. How do you know William wouldn't do this? Do you know what he's done to me? He's tried to kill me several times. Do you think he would treat my son well?"
Alexander pushed him away, his body weakly falling to the side.
Bishop immediately supported him and said, "I know William is not a good person, but Sunny is not just your child, he's also Ava's child. He loves Ava very much. If he wants to be with Ava, he wouldn't be so stupid as to hurt Sunny."
"But what if..."
"What if he really hurts Sunny!" Bishop immediately said, "You don't need to say it, I will kill William, and I will pay with my life!"
"Pay with your life?" Alexander mocked, "Can you afford it?"
Bishop helped Alexander to the bed. "You should finish watching the video first."
Bishop turned to leave.
Alexander immediately asked, "Where are you going?"
When Bishop reached the door, he turned his head and said, "To help you get Sunny back."
"Wait a minute." Alexander called out to him.
"What else? If you want to continue blaming me, it's a waste of time."
"The thing has already happened, what's the use of blaming you? Don't go to William yet."
"You're not worried he'll hurt your son?"
"Of course I'm worried," Alexander said, "If you go to bring Sunny back now, William will be suspicious. We can't let him know that I already know Sunny is my son, otherwise, he won't return Sunny to me."
Bishop thought for a moment, what Alexander said made sense.
He returned to the bedside and said, "Sunny will be fine, I will bring him back secretly."
Alexander said nothing more and continued watching the surveillance on the computer.
As Alexander watched, he said, "My father recognized Eason as his godson. It seems he hid very well, lurking around all of us."
"Do you think your father is involved in this?" Bishop said, "When I came to find you, your father was at the door of the operating room. He seemed very worried about you. I don't think he knew, but to be safe, I didn't hand Sunny over to him."
Alexander said, "I'm not sure either. My father might not know, but to be safe, let's not alert him. You said you went to find Ava first, how did that go? What did you find?"
"I checked the public surveillance. I found that the useful footage had been destroyed, probably by Eason, so we couldn't trace the route he took Ava. He could have hidden Ava anywhere. We need to mobilize more manpower to search, but we can't be too conspicuous. I think Eason is very cunning, he might move Ava at any time."
At that moment, a scene on the computer screen caught all of Alexander's attention. In the footage, Isabella came to find Ava.
Alexander's breath hitched, and he gritted his teeth, "Isabella!"
It turned out that Isabella gave Ava these pieces of evidence and forced Ava to swear not to tell anyone, and took Ava's shares.
First, there was Madison's deception, and now Isabella was so insidious. If he hadn't seen it with his own eyes, Alexander wouldn't have believed they were all such people.
Alexander's anger surged. He saw the red bracelet on his wrist, tore it off, and threw it forcefully on the ground.
Alexander felt increasingly ridiculous. Whether it was Isabella or Madison, they were all liars, all scheming against him.
And he had hurt Ava time and again for these two people. No wonder he didn't deserve to be Sunny's father, no wonder Ava didn't want to tell him.
