Chapter 1225 Chaotic Scene
Mandy's face looked even more surprised than before, "What on earth is going on? Whose child is this?"
Ava turned her head to look at Bishop, staring at his resolute profile, and suddenly felt a strong sense of security.
With him here, she wasn't as scared.
She calmed down and said, "Sunny is not William's. He has nothing to do with your family. Sunny is his."
Ava held onto Bishop's arm.
To get Sunny back, she had no choice but to take this desperate measure. She couldn't tell them the child was Alexander's. If word got out and Alexander found out, it would be terrible.
Mandy stood up angrily, "This is a mess. Whose child is this?"
"This child is not William's. He was just helping me hide it." Ava reached out her hand, "Please, give him back to me."
"Mom, give the child back to them. This child might not be William's." Hailey pleaded from behind.
Mandy said, "You called William before, and he clearly said this child is his. Call him again and ask."
"No need to ask." Ava said, "I told you, William was helping me hide it. This child is not his. Otherwise, how could William allow me to take the child away?"
"Mom, give the child back to them first. Let's talk things over calmly. Don't let this escalate into a conflict." Hailey advised gently.
Mandy was furious, "You are full of lies."
She stared coldly at Ava, "I will take this child for a DNA test. If he is not William's child, I will return him to you. But if he is William's child, then he certainly cannot live with a mother who is full of lies like you."
Ava said angrily, "You are going too far. Give Sunny back to me!"
She rushed forward recklessly.
Mandy ignored her and turned to leave.
Mandy's bodyguard immediately drew a gun from his waist, aiming it at Ava and Bishop.
Bishop instinctively pulled Ava behind him, shielding her from the gun. He was unarmed, completely defenseless.
Mandy said coldly, "You better not make things worse for yourselves."
A sharp glint flashed in Bishop's narrow eyes. He suddenly rushed forward like a shadow, and with lightning speed, he snatched the gun from the bodyguard's hand.
The two bodyguards were well-trained, but they didn't expect Bishop's skills. By the time they realized it, the gun was already gone from their hands.
Soon, the three of them were wrestling together, knocking over bowls and plates on the table, and kicking chairs against the wall.
Ava's bag was hanging on a chair, and as the chair flew through the air, the contents spilled out, scattering everywhere.
The scene was chaotic.
Ava took the opportunity to rush in front of Mandy, "Give Sunny back to me!"
Mandy refused to let go, holding onto Sunny tightly. Sunny was so scared that he started crying loudly.
"Mom, don't do this. Give the child to her." Hailey stepped forward to stop her, but Mandy refused to let go.
Suddenly, a gun was pointed directly at Mandy's head.
"Give Sunny back to her." Bishop's cold voice sounded.
Mandy's body trembled, and she looked at the man in front of her in shock.
Bishop was holding the gun, pointing it at her head, his eyes filled with sharp killing intent.
Mandy was furious, "How dare you point a gun at me! I will make sure you die without a burial place! Do you know who I am?"
Bishop sneered, his eyes full of contempt, "Of course I know who you are. You think you're noble, an upper-class elite, a parasite sucking the blood of ordinary people, enjoying privileges all your life, treating human lives like ants. People like you, even if all of you were executed, not one would be innocent."
