Chapter 1049 Moving Out
Sunny quickly falls asleep.
William asked, "Ava, what did you mean by what you just said? Do you care about blood relations? Do you think Alexander is Sunny's father?"
"William, let's talk outside," Ava said, worried about disturbing Sunny.
William held back his anger, "Fine."
The two left the nursery.
William couldn't wait to grab Ava's hand.
"Ava, what's wrong with you? If there's something on your mind, tell me. We can work it out together."
Ava pulled her hand away, "I plan to move out with Sunny. I'll take care of him from now on."
William was stunned. He couldn't believe what he was hearing and looked at Ava in shock, "What did you say?"
After a moment of silence, Ava said, "William, now that you're better, I think it's time for us to move out."
"Are you crazy?" William's face immediately turned cold, "Did you forget what you promised me? You promised to live with me. Do you know how much I've missed you these past three months? And now you come back and say you want to move out!"
"If you missed me so much these past three months, why didn't you come to Stellaria even once?" Ava asked.
William said, "Because I had a lot of things to deal with here."
Ava asked, "Tell me what you've been busy with."
William responded, "Some shareholder issues at the company, and various other official duties."
Ava said firmly, "Please explain clearly. I want to see if these things really took up all your time these past three months, leaving you no chance to visit Stellaria."
William was stunned. He didn't understand why Ava had suddenly become like this.
Did Ava really care whether he had visited her in the past three months?
"Speak up!" Ava demanded, "Don't worry, I can understand. Just say it."
William knew exactly what he had been busy with these past three months.
For three months, William consistently avoided to Stellaria, instead of attending to any official business.
Ava said, "What's wrong? If you can't, it proves you didn't miss me that much."
William asked, "Ava, why are you being so aggressive?"
Ava's current behavior was completely unlike someone who hadn't seen him for three months and was upset he hadn't visited.
It was more like an interrogation.
Ava replied, "William, you knew well what you had done.""
"What did I do?" William retorted, "Ava, you've been acting strange since you came back. Even if I did something wrong, you should at least let me know."
"Stop playing dumb." Ava was getting annoyed, "Why did you suddenly return to the country? Was it really because of business, or were you avoiding the police in Stellaria?"
The thing William feared most had indeed come to pass.
"Why aren't you saying anything?" Ava saw his silence and confirmed her suspicions.
