Chapter 836 Stop Acting
After Alexander got out of the car, he saw a young man lying on the ground, his bag dropped to the side, clutching his leg and crying out in pain.
Alexander immediately walked up and asked, "How are you? Can you get up?"
The man on the ground turned his head to look at Alexander.
Seeing his face, Alexander was startled.
He had seen this person before.
He was a friend of Ava's, named Eason.
They had met at the hospital before, when William had an accident and Ava was staying at the hospital.
He thought, 'Why is Eason here?'
Eason saw Alexander and seemed to recognize him too. "Oh, it's you."
Eason seemed to be in a lot of pain, his face contorted. "I'm in so much pain, I think my bones are broken."
Alexander didn't expect to run into Eason here, and he had hit him.
Alexander asked, "Can you get up? I'll take you to the hospital."
Madison was still sitting in the passenger seat. She saw through the windshield that Alexander was helping a man to stand up, and it looked like the man had been hit.
She quickly unbuckled her seatbelt, got out of the car, and walked over. "How is he? Is he okay?"
She was worried that Alexander might have seriously injured the man and would be held responsible.
Eason's face was very pale, sweating from the pain. Seeing Madison, he looked puzzled. "Who is she?"
Alexander replied, "That's none of your business. Get in the car, I'll take you to the hospital."
After all, he bumped into Eason, so he had to take the responsibility.
Eason seemed injured, and he couldn't just leave him there; he had to take him to the hospital.
Alexander helped Eason into the back seat, then closed the door and came to Madison, "I'm sorry, Ms. Allen."
He took out his wallet and handed her some cash. "Take a cab home, I need to take Eason to the hospital."
Madison felt a bit disappointed. "Alright, but I don't need your money. I have my own."
Madison pushed his hand away, saying, "I don't want your money."
Seeing her insist, Alexander put the cash back.
"You should take him to the hospital quickly, I'll head home."
With that, Madison turned to leave.
But after a few steps, she clutched her chest, looking very uncomfortable.
Seeing this, Alexander walked up. "Are you feeling unwell again?"
Madison said, "I'm fine, just a bit tired."
Seeing Madison's haggard appearance, Alexander felt uneasy.
Her health wasn't good, and she wasn't suited for running around. If something happened to her on the way home, it would be his responsibility.
He had asked her to come and help, so he had to make sure she got home safely.
Alexander said, "How about this, you get in the car, and I'll take you home myself."
Hearing Alexander say this, Madison felt happy, but thinking about the person in the back seat, she said, "You hit that person, you need to take him to the hospital."
Eason in the car was crying out in pain.
Alexander turned his head and glanced at him, frowning.
Alexander added, "Ms. Allen, if you don't mind, I'll take him to the hospital first, then take you home. Get in the car, you’re not well, and if something happens to you on the way, it will be my responsibility. I need to make sure you get home safely."
Madison felt a surge of joy in her heart, she nodded. "Alright, I'll get in the car."
She didn't want Alexander to worry about her.
After reaching an agreement with Alexander, Madison sat in the passenger seat and fastened her seatbelt.
Eason in the back seat was crying out in pain, "It hurts so much. I feel like you crushed my insides."
Alexander hadn't started the car yet. He turned his head and looked at the person behind him, coldly saying, "Stop yelling, Ava isn't here, your acting won't work."
