Chapter 1018 Warning Her

William said, "Sunny, isn't your mom being a bit much? How could she treat me like this?"

"I just got back, and while I was away, she got involved with Alexander. I'm really pissed."

He added, "But I know, this definitely isn't Ava's fault. It's gotta be Alexander's doing."

Sunny was wide awake, eyes wide open.

William picked Sunny up and held him close.

William asked, "You'd never treat me like this, right?"

"Sunny, you're with me now. Don't worry, I won't blame Ava. The one to blame is Alexander. He's the one who messed everything up, and I won't let him get away with it."

William grabbed Sunny's tiny hand, "You must be on my side, right?"

"When you grow up, you gotta stand up for me and teach those who messed with me a lesson."

Vicky ran in and said, "William, you're back."

When Vicky heard that William was back, she rushed over.

She saw William holding Sunny on the couch.

Vicky was thrilled and hurried over, "William, is this Ava's kid?"

"This is my kid." William stroked Sunny's little face and said coldly, "Watch your words next time."

Vicky was taken aback.

Why did it feel like William was different from before?

When he spoke to her, his voice seemed to carry a warning.

Vicky nodded, "Got it."

William smiled gently, his attitude shifting, "Vicky, long time no see. How've you been?"

Vicky replied, "I'm good. How was your treatment in Stellaria?"

William said, "The treatment went well. It's a new therapy, and it helped me recover a lot of memories. I also remembered how much trouble you used to cause, and I had to clean up after you."

Vicky said, "William, why bring up my embarrassing moments? If that's the case, you might as well not have recovered your memory. At least if you didn't, I'd still be perfect in your mind."

William patted Vicky's head, "Alright, you're my sister. Does it matter if you're perfect or not? I'll always care for you."

"You're the best." Vicky linked her arm with his, "Sunny is so cute. By the way, where's Ave?"

Seeing Sunny, Vicky felt very happy. He was so beautiful and adorable, very likable, and quietly nestled in William's arms without crying or fussing.

William said, "She still has her studies in Stellaria."

Vicky asked, "Then why did you come back early?"

William answered, "I came back to handle company stuff. Dad's tired on his own."

Vicky added, "But some things don't necessarily need you to come back in person. William, tell me the truth, did you have a falling out with Ava, so you brought Sunny back, hoping she'd come back to find you?"

"Don't talk nonsense." William frowned, "What I said is true. I came back to handle company matters, and Ava is there studying."

"But why did she let you bring her kid back?" Vicky asked.

"Her kid?" William's brow furrowed, "Vicky, didn't I just tell you? This is our kid. When you say it like that, it sounds like it's only her kid. Just because I don't have a blood relationship with Sunny, does that mean I'm not fit to be his father? Are you siding with Alexander too?"

Hearing William's stern and fierce voice, Vicky was frightened and looked at him in shock, stammering as she spoke.
