Chapter 1047 Missed Her to Death
Alexander brought Madison back to his place.
He laid Madison on the bed.
Alecander asked, "Madison, how are you?"
Madison apologizd, "Alexander, I'm sorry, I was wrong."
Alexander was a bit surprised. He had expected Madison to question him, but instead, she apologized right away.
Madison added, "Alexander, I shouldn't have followed you. I was just too worried. But I didn't expect to see you having dinner with her. I acted impulsively, so I'm really sorry. Did I interrupt your dinner? I really shouldn't have."
Alexander sighed. "Madison, I did have dinner with her, and indeed, I've had many meals with her over the past few months."
Madison bit her lip, tears streaming down her face.
She would rather Alexander lie to her, but he was so blunt.
Madison asked, "So what's going on between you two now? Alexander, are you going to abandon me? If I had known this, I would rather not have had the surgery and just let myself die."
Alexander opened his mouth, but before he could say anything, his phone rang.
He took out his phone and glanced at it; it was a message from Ava.
His heart leaped with joy, and he immediately opened it, only to see a text message.
[I've already bought a ticket for tomorrow. I'll be flying back in the morning. Let Madison stay with you for the surgery. You two should live well together.]
Alexander sighed and put the phone aside, saying, "Madison, I won't have dinner with her anymore."
"Really?" Madison asked hoarsely, "Don't lie to me. I really can't take any more lies."
Alexander responded, "Really, I'm not lying to you."
Alexander held her hand, "Let's go back to the States in a couple of days."
Madison nodded, "Okay, we'll go back."
Ava finally returned to Berlyn, breathing in the air around her, feeling a surge of emotions.
William had sent a car to pick her up.
He was very busy today and couldn't come himself, so he asked her to wait for him at home.
Ava didn't mind whether William came to pick her up or not; she headed straight to where Sunny was.
Once home, Ava immediately picked up Sunny.
In the three months that had passed, Sunny had grown a lot.
Sunny was now seven months old.
Sunny, held in Ava's arms, looked at her with unfamiliar eyes, staring blankly at the person in front of her, not knowing who she was.
Ava said, "Sunny, I'm your mom. I'm sorry it took me so long to come back. I won't leave you again. From now on, I'll take you with me wherever I go."
Ava suddenly thought of something.
"Sunny, I'm taking you away right now. We won't stay here anymore."
Ava was about to leave with Sunny in her arms.
But suddenly, Sunny started crying.
Ava panicked a bit, "Sunny, what's wrong? Don't cry. I won't hurt you. I'll take you away from here."
But the more Ava tried to soothe her, the harder Sunny cried.
Ava didn't know how to comfort her, so she could only hold Sunny in her arms, walking back and forth.
Ava said, "Sunny, I'm taking you away now. Don't worry, I'll take good care of you."
She was just about to walk out the door with Sunny in her arms.
At that moment, William appeared.
He had heard the crying from a distance.
William said, "Ava, you're back."
He was overjoyed. He hadn't seen Ava for three months and had missed her terribly.
He reached out to hug Ava, but she took a step back.
