Chapter 541 Playing the Villain

She eagerly anticipated witnessing the lively spectacle of these two nefarious men locked in combat.
"You are absolutely right. If they engage in strife, setting traps for each other, it would be most advantageous," he replied.
This way, he wouldn't need to devise any new strategies.

Ella nodded. "Just wait. The opportunity will come. They will definitely fight over your sister. You don't need to worry too much. Since you're so smart, your sister must have ideas, too."

"That's right." Eason's smile gradually brightened.

However, for him, opportunities were never something to wait for; they were something he created with his own hands. As long as he wanted it, he could make it happen.

"Are you feeling better?" Ella asked.

Eason nodded. "Much better."

She breathed a sigh of relief. "That's good."

An elusive sinister smile appeared on Eason's lips. "Don't tell anyone about our conversation today, okay?"

Ella patted her chest forcefully. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone."

"Very well, I trust you. However, I hate being deceived. If you were to disclose this to anyone else, then I would..." Eason paused, contemplating his next course of action.
"And what would you do?" She inquired curiously.
Eason's lips curved into a sinister smile. "I would end you, reducing you to mere ashes and dust."
A sudden chill descended upon the nurse, causing her to shudder, as if submerged in icy waters that pierced her very soul.
Upon seeing her dazed expression, Eason suddenly chuckled, "Haha, did I scare you?"

Seeing Eason's smile, Ella regained her composure, mustering a smile. "So, you were just teasing me. You scared the heck ouit of me!"

Just moments ago, she was truly petrified.

Eason, with a gentle smile, gazed at her. "I'm not fooling you."

Her smile faded in an instant, her face freezing into a mask of surprise.

Eason fixed his gaze on her, earnestly stating, "I'm serious."

A sudden quietness fell between them as they locked eyes, neither speaking for a long while. Ella suddenly felt an urge to escape, sensing strongly that Eason was far more than what she had initially perceived.

Eason, once again grinning like a mischievous boy, pointed at her. "Gotcha, my acting must be top-notch. I could play a compelling villain, don't you think?"

Ella's emotions were sent on a rollercoaster ride by Eason, as if experiencing thrilling highs and lows.

"You talk as if it were real. You seem cut out to be a villain, and with such charm, you might as well consider becoming an actor."

"Anyone can try their hand at acting, fools and monkeys included, but what I aim to accomplish isn't within just anyone's grasp."

Eason's expression suddenly became serious, staring at her intently.

Ella paused briefly, but upon closer reflection, she was certain that he was acting again. she then smiled and remarked, "Indeed, you are quite astute, and poised to make significant contributions to the advancement of mankind."
"Yes, significant contributions indeed," replied Eason earnestly.

A week had passed in the blink of an eye. During this week, Ava had a peaceful time in the hospital. She often went to see Eason and chatted with him.

But most of the time, she was with William.

During this period, she hadn't seen Alexander. He seemed to be absent from the hospital, and she didn't know where he had gone. She didn't ask either. They were like the most familiar strangers.

Ava sensed a faint discordance. However, upon further reflection, everything seemed to be in its proper place. It was preferable for them not to rendezvous needlessly, rather than encountering each other intermittently and inevitably entangling in nonsensical, peculiar imbroglios.
