Chapter 440 You're Lying to Me
Alexander took off his suit jacket, threw it on the ground and pounced on Ava. He pinned her arms down on both sides, rendering her unable to move.
"Alexander, William and I..."
"I won't allow you to mention him!" Alexander roughly covered her mouth with his hand.
Alexander removed his hand, then used his lips to silence her words once again. He hated hearing William's name from her mouth.
His jealousy would drive him to madness.
Because he had witnessed how at ease Ava was with William, something she had never been with him.
What was even more infuriating was the things she did for William, which Alexander mistakenly thought she did for him.
Why?
Why should he, after ten years with Ava, be surpassed by a mere William? He refused to accept it!
He and Ava had once been the closest in the world, doing the happiest things together. They were married!
The one who was closest to her should be him, not someone else!
Facing his forceful kiss, Ava couldn't resist. Her brain entirely was in a fog.
His kiss was too fierce, his emotions too intense. Everything was beyond her expectations. She didn't even know how to react. She never expected things to turn out this way.
Alexander actually loved her!
He had lost his mind for her.
For ten years, Ava had loved him deeply.
She never thought she was forced into marrying him, nor was it to repay the Mitchell Family's kindness.
This intense feeling had taken root and grown deep in her heart over the past ten years.
Ava's love for Alexander knew no bounds, to the extent that when hurt by him, the pain penetrated deep into her very marrow.
Unconsciously, her clothes had been stripped off.
The ground was a mess.
Ava seemed to be out of control, completely governed by emotions, even her hands involuntarily wrapped around the man on top of her.
One by one, passionate kisses landed on her.
Gradually, Ava's last bit of rationality was slowly engulfed, as if floating in the sea.
"What's this?"
Just as their emotions were running high, Alexander suddenly grabbed Ava's hand and discovered a diamond ring on her ring finger.
Ava suddenly came to her senses. "Let go of me, let go!"
"Why are you wearing a ring? Are you going to marry William? Answer me!"
Alexander, like a raging beast, almost tore Ava apart.
Just a moment ago, Ava's thoughts seemed to have sunk into a swamp, unable to free herself. However, the ring brought her back to reality, making her realize what she was doing.
"Alexander, let go of me!"
"Why?" Alexander demanded, "Am I not allowed to touch you?"
Clearly, when Alexander touched her, he could feel her responding. Now, as soon as the ring was mentioned, she changed completely.
"I've already married William!"
Ava cried, "Let go of me!"
Although her marriage with William was fake, her divorce from Alexander was real.
In a sudden turn of events, Alexander rushed over, expressing his desire to remarry her, professing his love, and pinning her beneath him.
She wasn't a puppet to be manipulated by him, to do as he pleased!
Alexander stared in astonishment at Ava beneath him, her words still echoing in his ears.
This couldn't be real.
"You're lying to me!" Alexander tightly held her hand, intertwining her fingers. "Ava, I know you're mad at me, but you don't need to tell such lies. Are you lying to me?"
