Chapter 546 Missing Her

Vicky's eyes flashed with a hint of sorrow.

What should she do?

William and Ava were cousins, but now he had lost his memory and thought Ava was really his wife. He deeply loved her, and it was hard to imagine how he would react when the truth came out.

"If only I could go to the wedding with Ava. I couldn't even accompany her to see her grandmother. As her husband, I'm really useless."

Hearing William's sigh, Vicky comforted him. "Don't say that. Once you recover, everything will be resolved."

"Yes, but I might never remember," William said, lowering his eyes in disappointment, "I wonder where Ava is now. What kind of wedding is it? I really wish I could be there with her. If someone asks her where her husband is, how will she answer? I really want to do something for her."

He sighed softly and turned his head, saying, "Thank you for visiting me, but I want to be alone for a while, okay?"

Vicky nodded. "Of course, I won't disturb you. I'll leave you alone."

William nodded. "Thank you."

After Vicky left the hospital, she went to the underground parking lot. Just as she was about to drive away, she saw the elevator doors open, and Alexander and Ava walked into the parking lot.

Vicky thought they had already left.

She immediately hid to the side and could clearly hear their conversation as they got closer.

"Ava, if you're not feeling well, you don't have to go. It's okay"

"I'm not feeling unwell. I can go."

"Really?"

Seeing the doubt in Alexander's eyes, Ava said, "I just went to the restroom. Does going to the restroom mean there's something wrong with my body? If so, then everyone in the world has a problem."

"But you didn't let me get close when you went to the restroom." He still thought something was wrong with her.

"I went to the women's restroom. How could you, a man, get close? Stop being unreasonable, okay?"

Alexander stopped walking and said sullenly, "I'm just really worried about you. I feel like I've missed out on a lot about you ever since the divorce."

Ava sighed softly. "Alright, I know you're worried about me. I'm really fine. Don't make a fuss."

Alexander responded softly and nodded.

They opened the car door and got in.

After seeing their car leave the parking lot, Vicky also drove and followed them.

The wedding was grand.

When Ava and Alexander appeared, they captured all the attention.

At this very moment, they had to maintain the façade of a couple. Ava could only hold on to Alexander's arm, feigning intimacy to deal with the approaching crowd.

Every gesture and every word of her was a display of the grace of a high-born lady. Alexander, by Ava's side, seemed like a mere accompaniment, his gaze fixed on her throughout, filled with tenderness.

Gazing at her profile, he was captivated by her smiling visage, longing to plant a kiss on her lips.

He truly missed her, missed her being, her heart, and her physical presence.

Noticing Alexander staring at her, Ava turned to look at him. "What's wrong? What are you thinking?"
