Chapter 557 I Really Want to Beat Him

"Alex, if you don't open the door now, I really won't care anymore. Even if I leave now, I don't owe you anything."

But still, there was no response from inside.

"Fine, if you don't open the door, I'm leaving. I'll go find William, hug him, kiss him, and sleep with him."

Ava said angrily, turning to leave.

When the door opened, a tall figure rushed out and tightly embraced Ava from behind. "I won't let you go!"

He was as stubborn as a child, almost embedding her in his arms. "I won't let you go find William!"

Ava struggled hard a couple of times, finding that she couldn't break free. She furrowed her brows. "Alex, let go of me."

"I won't let go. I won't let you go."

"Why won't you let me go to William? He's my husband!"

"I just won't allow it."

"You can't stop me. You have no say in my relationship with him."

"I will have a say. I won't let you kiss him, hug him, or sleep with him! If you go, I'll go with you, and we'll sleep together!"

Alex's words stunned Ava. She felt angry but also found them ridiculous. He had lost all reason, spouting such nonsense.

"Are you crazy? Do you even know what you're saying?"

"I know. We'll sleep together. In any case, shan't lay claim to you.”

Ava was too exhausted to argue.

"Alex, let go of me!"

"I won't!"

"You're the one who don’t open the door. You tell me to leave, and now you won't let me go. What do you want?"

He was always like this, unable to keep his words and actions consistent. On one hand, he wanted a divorce, but then he clung to her. He told her to leave, but when she did, he held onto her.

"I don't want you to leave. I regret it." Alex buried his head in her neck, his tears dampening her skin.

Ava felt ticklish from his rubbing; she moved her head away, trying to break free. "Let go of me first; you're hurting me!"

Upon hearing "You're hurting me," Alex panicked and quickly let go of Ava.

He turned her body around, anxiously checking. "Are you okay? Where does it hurt? Tell me. I'll massage it for you. I'll blow on it for you."

Alex gently rubbed his head against her neck, blowing air on her.

Ava pushed his head away. "Enough. Don't act like a child. You're a 26-year-old adult now. If anyone saw you like this, they'd laugh. Remember who you are."

Even ordinary people would be laughed at for behaving like this, let alone Alex. If caught on camera, it would make headlines.

"Let them laugh at me, I don't care!"

"You may not care, but Scarlett does. You're her only grandson, and behaving like this will affect her."

"All you care about is grandma. You don't care about me." Alex felt very wronged.

"You've had enough. Stop it, come back with me!"

Ava grabbed his arm, trying to take him away.

Alex pulled his hand away from her. "I'm not leaving."

"What exactly do you want to do?" Ava asked angrily.

"You!" Alex glared at her angrily.

"You..." Ava was so angry that she couldn't speak. She really wanted to beat him up.
