Chapter 880 You Love Him A Lot?
She and William never hooked up.
William's a stand-up guy; he never pushed her and always treated her right.
Ava feels kinda bad for William, partly 'cause of that.
"Alright, let's drop it. It's done between you two, and it ain't happening again." Madison couldn't help but throw her weight around, feeling all high and mighty.
It was like she was telling Ava that Alexander was hers now, no questions asked.
Ava just gave Sunny a little pat and kept quiet.
Madison went on, "Ms. Anderson, just don't hurt him again, okay?"
Ava frowned, "I didn't hurt him; he came to Stellaria on his own."
He just happened to be here on vacation with his so-called girlfriend, and just happened to show up at the same restaurant?
Even if he was really on vacation, Stellaria's huge. How'd he just bump into her here?
Ava thought there are a lot of coincidences in the world, but her run-ins with Alexander? Nah, she ain't buying it.
Maybe Alexander brought this girlfriend just to rub it in her face.
"I'm not talking about that kind of hurt," Madison said, "He got seriously hurt last time, and it was all on you."
Hearing this, Ava went quiet.
Seeing Ava's reaction, Madison was even more sure that what the mystery guy told her was legit.
Ava always wanted Alexander gone, but Ava seemed so weak and harmless, gentle and kind. Who'd have thought she was such a snake?
"He told you about that?" Ava didn't know when this mess would end, maybe never. So she and Alexander would always be stuck like this.
They couldn't be husband and wife, couldn't be lovers, couldn't even be friends or strangers; maybe they were just destined to be enemies.
Seeing Ava admit it, Madison shook with anger. She wanted to say it wasn't Alexander who told her, but that'd just open up a can of worms about who did, so she kept her mouth shut.
Madison was scared stiff that Alexander would think she was shady, teaming up with others.
"I beg you, don't do this anymore. That incident messed him up big time; you don't know how he managed to pull through."
Madison wanted to spill that Alexander had almost ended it all multiple times.
But as the words hit her lips, she thought better of it. No way, she couldn't tell her. If she told Ava and Ava didn't care, she might even feel smug.
And if Ava did care, it would be even worse. If she found out Alexander had tried to off himself because of her and Ava felt heartbroken and changed her mind, then what?
For any reason, Madison didn't dare to say.
But even if Madison didn't spill about Alexander's suicide attempts, Ava felt a deep ache thinking about how her choices had hurt Alexander.
"I had no choice back then; I had to make a call."
"Choice or no choice, the fact is you made a brutal decision," Madison cried, "You can choose not to love him, you can even hate him, but please, let Alexander live his life, okay? Don't put him in danger anymore."
Ava stared blankly at Madison, "You love him a lot, don't you?"
