Chapter 1007 Falling into the Abyss

Ava shoved Alexander's hand away and snapped, "Alright, then I need to know exactly what went down."

Since Alexander had already laid out the so-called evidence right in front of her, there was no reason not to check it out. It wouldn't take more than a few minutes anyway.

Ava took the lead, opened the video, and sat quietly in front of the computer, her eyes glued to the screen.

In the video, William led a bunch of armed guys into Alexander's house. Once inside, they hunted for surveillance cameras and smashed them on purpose.

When Alexander and Madison got back, they were ambushed and threatened with their lives. William pointed the gun at Alexander, ready to pull the trigger. His eyes were full of nothing but cruelty.

Ava's face froze, her eyes wide with shock and disbelief. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. The William who had been there for her through thick and thin had turned into such a monster.

Her emotions were all over the place, like a storm had hit her. Anger, shock, and despair swirled inside her, creating a chaotic mess of pain. She couldn't understand or accept any of it.

William pressed the gun against Alexander, forcing him to kneel. At the last second, Alexander grabbed the gun from William, flipping the script.

The bodyguards backed off, and then Alexander gave William a serious beating.

Alexander was furious, but in the end, he didn't kill William, even though he had the gun.

Finally, Alexander kicked William out.

The sound in the video was crystal clear; every word they said was loud and clear.

Alexander said, "William, right now, Ava's situation is the most important. She's missing, and I'll do everything I can to find her. If you don't want her to get hurt, you'd better go find her and stop wasting time here with me. I was also her husband, and I've known her longer than you have. No matter what, Ava is the most important woman to me. So whether I love her or go looking for her, you'd better shut up because you have no right!"

Tears silently welled up in Ava's eyes, her lips trembling slightly, unable to make a sound. Her hand instinctively covered her mouth, trying to hold back the pain and despair. Her body felt like it had fallen into an abyss, her soul torn into countless pieces.

The trust and beautiful memories of the past shattered before her eyes, like a carefully painted picture being ripped apart, turning into a harsh reality.

Ava felt the strength draining from her body, like she couldn't even stand. Her thoughts were a mess, her heart filled with endless disappointment and despair. She struggled to find something to hold onto, trying to find a glimmer of hope in the darkness.

Ava said, "William, why did you do this and lie to me?"

She had once believed in William without a doubt, but in the end, it turned out like this. Her trust had been rock solid, but the cold reality cruelly dragged her out of her fantasy.
