Chapter 542 Buying A Big House

Eason is going to discharge today. Bright and early, Ava embarked on handling his discharge procedures, attending to his needs meticulously.

Ava accompanied Eason to the hospital entrance. Although he had been discharged, he still need continued care and recovery support.

Having already arranged for a caregiver, Ava ensured that Eason would receive attentive care until his full recuperation.

At the hospital entrance, the car Ava arranged was waiting. She let go of the wheelchair and walked around to face Eason. "Eason, let Ella accompany you home first. She will take care of you, so don't worry."

"Thank you. I will definitely repay you the money. Rest assured."

"No rush. Right now, the most important thing is for you to recover. Don't worry about anything else."

"Thank you. You are so good to me." Eason's eyes were brimming with tears, and he looked as if he was about to cry, appearing very pitiful.

"Eason, no crying, or I'll have to scold you." Ava gently patted his head. "You need to work hard."

Eason nodded vigorously. "I know. I will work hard. When I make money in the future, I'll buy you a big house. I won't hire servants to take care of you; I'll take care of you myself. I'll dress you, cook for you, make your bed, and..."

"Alright," Ava interrupted him, "You're getting more and more ridiculous."

"What's ridiculous? I'm serious," Eason said earnestly, "I want to buy you a beautiful big house."

Ava smiled helplessly, "Okay, I'll wait for it. For now, take good care of yourself. Health is the foundation of hard work."

Eason nodded emphatically. "Very well, I will heed your every word."

After sending Eason off, Ava walked back into the hospital.

In the car, Ella couldn't help but ask, "Is she the sister you mentioned before?"

"Yes." Eason nodded. "Yes."

Ella seemed to have noticed something.

"Do you adore her?" It was evident that they did not share a fraternal bond by blood.

Eason raised his finger to his lips and said mysteriously, "Keep your voice down. Don't let others hear. It's a secret."

Ella nodded. "Okay, but I heard her husband is also in this hospital."

"Yes," Eason said unhappily, "He is so bothersome, having my sister look after him all day long. Why must she endure such hardship when he possesses such wealth? Why not seek someone else to care for him?"

Seeing Eason's jealous expression, Ella found him quite cute. "It seems your sister is very popular. I think I saw her talking to another man in the hospital before. The atmosphere was quite tense."

Upon mentioning this matter, Eason's expression immediately darkened. "That man is her ex-husband, constantly pestering her. It's truly vexing."

"Wow, she's truly a catch, with two handsome guys hot on her heels."

"Handsome? What's so great about being handsome?" Eason suddenly turned his head, saying fiercely, "What's the use of being handsome? They've both caused her a lot of pain! Being handsome is useless! Throw some acid on them, and they'll show their true colors!"

If Eason wanted, he could make them disappear without a trace immediately! These people who only cared about appearances were so stupid!

Ella was stunned, looking at him in shock.

Seeing Ella's wide eyes, Eason suddenly laughed. "Look at you, so easily frightened. Just a slight scare and you are utterly petrified."

Ella let out a sigh, displeased. "Don't spring jolts on me like that, You know I'm timid.."
